Our beautiful stay

We had so much fun for two nights! The house is amazing! The hosts are more amazing! We went kayaking, hiking, did s’mores with a bonfire! The place has beauty and water and it’s very peaceful.

Family time perfection

We booked this place for MTU graduation weekend so we would be able to grill out and celebrate the achievements of our grad and this place did not meet but exceeded our expectation. The few things that were not already out (since winter in the UP ended yesterday) the owner got out and ready to go when asked. So not only did we have everything we needed but the location and space were perfect for everyone in the family. Plus, we were treated to amazing sun rises and sunsets every evening including many sightings of local wildlife.

Best VRBO experience in Mi ever!

Thank you, thank you for such a great stay! Your place was warm and welcoming with a plethora of touches that made it so special like fireless candles, nightlights, tasteful decor, high-end appliances and furnishings, thoughtful additions to each corner for each room…..everything we would wish to have at home. Staying this far north in the winter we were thankful for the driveway plow service and snow blowing. The home interior had everything we needed to deal with snowy boots and outerwear as well. This is a perfect place for cooking and having family meals. The kitchen was stocked better than any rental property I have ever had. The beds were so comfortable and all the linen was lovely. Everything at the house was clean!!! My husband and I and two teens were all so very comfortable and loved spending time at the house. The area was beyond gorgeous, and this place made it easy to enjoy so many different things from hiking to cross country skiing, to downhill skiing, to visiting Michigan Tech to attending the local festivals and great eating around Houghton. I appreciated the excellent communication the property owner provided. Really the only hiccup with booking and staying here occurred through technology error …. The property owner was thorough enough to check in with me before the stay to ask if I had received all instructions from VRBO because sometimes the emails don’t come in or go to spam. She was right. I hadn’t received what I needed so was happy with the help!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location

House was everything we were looking for in a vacation getaway. House was exactly as it appeared in pictures and in the description. House was clean and well stocked with everything you would need. Location right on Lake Superior was awesome and the large windows overlooking the lake allowed you to enjoy the lake from inside the house. Area was very quiet and peaceful. Our host communicated very well and the entire stay was perfect.

Wonderful Fall Getaway

We enjoyed a few days at this lovely, new lake home right on the shores of Lake Superior. Everything was nicely appointed and the house was very clean. Beds were comfy and kitchen fully stocked. It was peaceful and quiet at the house. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing the amazing sunrises as well as looking for and spotting shooting stars at night. The sky was so clear, it seems as if we saw a million stars. We were in the area to relax and enjoy the fall colors and visit Copper Harbor. We enjoyed driving through all the peaceful winding roads that had such a beautiful canopy of trees over them. We hoped to see the Northern Lights, which we saw in the area years ago, but did not see them during our stay. I believe the day after we left they were visible. The home was very spacious for two people and would easily accommodate a family or small group of friends. The host was wonderful to work with and we highly recommend this beautiful lake home! We would love to return again!

Magnificent fall sunrises

We were extremely pleased with our time at this VRBO. From start to finish, the property owner was in communication to ensure we had our needs met. We were there spending time with our son/grandson from Michigan Tech and it was a perfect fall weekend getaway for all of us! The kitchen was outstanding and everything we needed was provided for onsite! Thank you for such a great experience!

Lake Linden Luxury

Destination fabulous. Well appointed home with easy access to the northern part of the Keweenaw peninsula. Host is quick to respond to any issues which we had none. Would definitely consider for a repeat stay.

Can't wait to go back

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ann was a fantastic host making sure everything was as promised. The home and location were both fantastic. We especially enjoyed the Superior lake side deck and beautiful sunrises it presented. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful and peaceful

The house is right on the shore of Lake Superior, with beautiful views from the deck and from inside the house. Everything thing was clean and updated and comfortable. Beautiful open kitchen/ living room/ dining area. Two bedrooms on main floor, one full bathroom. Loft area has double sink full bathroom and two beds. No complete privacy in loft by beds, but that was not an issue for us. It is a bit of a drive into town on some gravel, but easily doable. We saw northern lights from the deck. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and comfort. No AC, but not an issue for us with the lake breezes coming through. Appreciated the food and sights suggestions. Ann was very good about communication and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks for sharing!!

UP PARADISE

Our family had the most incredible summer finale on "the ocean" making endless core memories! Cannot say enough about this wonderful property and its hosts - it's the kind of gem you secretly don't want to share with others while also wishing everyone the opportunity to experience it. My sister and I have been adventuring in the UP since we were little, and it was such a joy to bring our children and spouses up for a full week of fun in the sun. The weather was perfect and the one night that a storm rolled in, we had front row tickets to the most impressive lightning over the water we'd ever seen. We hiked the nearby Hungarian Falls one day (kid-friendly), but otherwise stayed onsite for endless play and relaxation on the beach, enjoying the many water toys provided, including kayaks, paddle boards, and lily pad. The property itself has everything you need and more, with plenty of space, fully equipped kitchen, quality linens and furnishings, many thoughtful extras, and a "lake life" vibe that immediately invites you to embrace vacay mode. Ann and Roger are fabulous, attentive hosts who genuinely want to ensure you have the best stay. A huge thank you to them for the beautiful experience they've curated. We are already dreaming of our return next summer!!

Perfect!

We loved everything about the Beach House on Big Traverse Bay. The house and view are stunning ..most memorable are the sunrises and moonrises over the water! The house was very clean and well-furnished, and Ann was a very kind and thoughtful host. Being right on the water is such a treat. We loved hearing the waves, kayaking, and exploring nearby trails; as well as visiting all of our favorite places in the Keweenaw, all within an hour’s drive. We had a great week and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and peaceful oasis!

Beautiful home with amazing views of the lake. Ann was the most caring and helpful host. The house was fully stocked with all of the essentials. My family and I truly enjoyed our time. My boys loved the pool table and the outdoor paddle boards and kayaks.

Best of the best!

Let me first say that the owner(s) are awesome. The communication prior, during, and after the stay were perfect. As we walked through the front door we were greeted by the amazing view of Lake Superior that can be seen through the floor to ceiling windows in the main living area. Just outside is a wrap around deck that encompasses 3/4ths of the home. The deck is a perfect area to grill and unwind after a fun filled day on the water. Our party included 3 children. Being that the deck is only 50 yards or so from the water, it was perfect place to relax while the children played. He kitchen is very well stocked and is open. The bedrooms are comfortable with a beach theme throughout the house. The lowest level houses a game room. My daughter loves the pool and fooseball tables. All in all the stay was everything we hoped. We arrived during the hottest time of the year and were a bit concerned as the home does not have AC, but our concerns faded as the windows and onshore breeze kept the house cool and comfortable. I hope to return. This property is a gem and we were blessed to spend a few days there. One final more, we were able to see the aurora during our stay. If you are a night sky watcher, check this place out. Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Favorite UP Stay!

We have been vacationing in the Keewenaw for 20+ years, staying in various rental homes and motels. This is by far our favorite place! The space, cleanliness, and excellent communication with the owner (Ann) is the best we’ve experienced! And did I mention the views?!?!? Spectacular sunrise and endless water views! Will definitely be back!

Unforgettable Stay at Ann's Lakefront Paradise: A Family's Journey from Argentina

Staying at Ann's house was an incredible experience for our family from Argentina, who relocated to North America three years ago and have been in Wisconsin for the past year. It was the first visit from my parents and niece since we moved, and being together in that paradise was truly unforgettable. Everything was flawless, starting with Ann, who was the most incredible host! The house was pure luxury and incredibly comfortable, equipped with everything needed for enjoying various water activities. The view of the lake was so breathtaking that it felt surreal to experience it firsthand. Witnessing a couple of stunning sunrises was particularly emotional for us.

Beautiful relaxation!

This house is truly a gem! The house was immaculately clean and very well appointed. The kitchen is stocked with just about anything you need for cooking meals, which we did. The rooms are spacious and beds are very comfortable. The beach and lake front are fantastic, perfect for relaxing on the soft sand or playing in the water with the provided boats and paddle boards. We greatly enjoyed a campfire each night with the provided firewood. Ann's communication was very prompt. We would definitely recommend this property and stay again if we have the opportunity.
