We traveled to Lake Harmony for a basketball tournament. We chose this due to the proximity of the game site and we weren't disappointed. The place is beautiful, well appointed and clean. We will definitely be back!

Very clean and well managed

My friends and I have stayed in at least a dozen Big Boulder-area short term rentals over the past 10 years. After a while they blend together since the layouts and interiors tend to be very similar. However this one stands out. Most importantly, it is extremely clean and well maintained. The instructions provided (such as for parking and check out) are clear and not cumbersome. Communication from the manager was friendly and helpful. It felt right-sized for my group of 1 couple 3 single adults - but if your group includes kids or more people willing to share, you could double that amount. So if this is the right size and price for your trip, you should book it without hesitation.

Great house with some problems that should be resolved before someone gets hurt at that property.

The house we rented was lovely, but some of the major elements of the house need to be corrected. We had about an inch of ice on the steps leading up to the front door, and the steps are very steep. What a hazard!The garage door was our entry into the house once we got the code to the garage door. But we found out that the garage door keypad did not work, except for two or three times when the weather seem to get warmer. The owner said it worked 2 weeks ago. So the two young men we had with us 22 year old and a 30 year old would close the garage inside the house and then run to the door before it closed. Some thing we could have never done with our age if they wouldn’t have been there. The other thing that I felt was really poor was operation of the gas fireplace. The remote did not work and I think that should’ve been mentioned when we rented the house instead having to make yet another call to the owner who said yeah it doesn’t work that way. When you pay 1800 for three days stay in the house I expect those things to work especially walking in through the front doorway. The lower level bedroom bed was very small, I don't think it was a double bed. Other than that everything else was fine.

Big Boulder Vacation

The absolute cleanest property we have rented at Big Boulder. The owners were easy to speak with and get any questions we had answered. Plenty of space for everyone.Give this home a chance you will love it.

Highly Recommend!

Pictures didn't do this home justice! The little touches throughout made it so welcoming. Everything was clean and tidy and the kids loved the games, the pool table, ping pong and foos ball games! The area is also so nice!

Excellent home and host

The home was lovely and was just as described in the listing. Steve was one of the best hosts we’ve had. Communication was great and he was able to accommodate a couple requests that made our trip easier. He sent us an online guide book that has all the information you need (like how to work the door lock, where to park, where the dumpsters are, etc). Highly recommend this home. It was a very enjoyable and smooth experience for me and my friends and family.

Great Stay

Place was well kept and equipped with all necessities. Includes passes to Big Boulder Lake club which had tons of things for families to do. Not too far from parks. I would stay here again.

Great property

This property is extremely well maintained. Clean, beautifully decorated, lots of space for my family to spread out and enjoy our stay. We loved that a starter kit with things like toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap, dishwasher pods, etc was provided to get us started when we arrived. Steve responded right away to any questions. Highly recommend this property. Easy access to the lake club to swim and use the lake.

Great Mini Vacation

My family and I rented Steve’s place for only two nights. We had a great time and we were sad that we didn’t book a third night. Everything was great! The place was spotless, and the kids had many games to enjoy in the game room. The digital guide Steve sent us was very helpful in answering any questions we had. We would definitely love to rent this place again next season!

Feels Like Home

Thank you very much for the exceptional hospitality. The property was well organized and clean. Our group really enjoyed our stay. The location is great and home had everything we needed to keep everyone busy in the off hours from the ski mountain. The check in / out process made it so easy. We would stay here again for sure and would recommend to anyone else planning a getaway.

Just Perfect!

My wife and I came with all of our children and it was just perfect. The place was clean, well organized, really clear and tons of amenities. We had lots to do just around the house and even more to do in the area (we played volleyball, went swimming and, hung out at the lake...). Beautiful area and very comfortable accommodations!

Mint-condition home at the right location!

Wonderful experience, overall. We tried-out VRBO for the first time for 4 families, including mine with a toddler. Although the description is accurate, some additional details were left out - - for instance availability of first-aid kit, TV in multiple rooms, etc. I highly recommend this this property. It’s centrally located by big boulder and lake harmony. The beds were very comfortable, and the bedding was neat. If anyone is driving Tesla, no need to worry about charging. A couple of Tesla supercharges (250 kW) are just 6 miles from the home. The manager (Steve) is highly responsive and considerate. It felt like a home away from home. Must try this one!

A Beautiful home for a quick family getaway. The location centrally located by big boulder and lake harmony with plenty to do and great places to eat… The kids loved the over sized bunk beds and game room area with lots of fun that they had with PS4 ping pong and a pool table The own was quick to respond with any questions that we had and great advice on ideas to do Highly recommend this beautiful home for your friend and families getaways
