We stayed here for a month. The house was ok but not great. The owner and her nephew (who manages it) were both responsive, and I appreciated that. We love Kokololio Beach, and it was great to be right across the street. Having AC in the bedrooms was definitely the highlight! But the "wholly air conditioned" description was misleading. There was a wall unit AC in each bedroom and one in the living room. However, the wall unit in one of the bedrooms and the one in the living room didn't work. The owner's nephew who lives downstairs and manages the property brought us two portable ACs, but only one of them worked. We set up the functional one in the living room, but it was hotter with it running than just opening the doors and windows. The living room and kitchen were very hot every afternoon/evening with or without the AC running. I get it that ACs are expensive and hard to maintain in Hawaii, but if you advertise AC, you need to keep them functional. Also the house wasn't very clean. The living room rug seemed like it never gets vacuumed, and there was no vacuum to use except for a shop vac that was in a storage closet. Overall, it was a comfortable enough place to stay and having the ACs (that worked) in the bedrooms was really nice! But I wouldn't call it "stunning".
