If Relaxation Were a House……

This home does not disappoint and the Hosts have put so much thoughtful attention to detail. Whether enjoying the many amenities in the home, or exploring down to the lazy river, for the first time in years, my family and I experienced true relaxation.

Best time EVER!

House is clean, clean, clean. Lots of fun amenities! We stayed last year, enjoyed the upgrades from new owners. Best place for a large family. Gorgeous surrounds, so much to do. Russ & Chris, June 2023

Family gathering

There is something for everyone. It was our third year having family together. This year was only 8 of us. Years prior 12 of us. We all had plenty of room and many activities to keep everyone's interest. We will be back next year.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

We had an absolutely delightful time at the Lazy River Lodge! The process was very simple and we were very impressed with the communication and how attentive the host was- any questions were answered very quickly. The house itself was heavenly- obviously a lot of thought has gone into guest comfort and was already appointed with everything we could need. The location was near to other attractions so we were able to visit the brewery in Bend, Sun River, and the Observatory. My only “complaint “ that was unavoidable was that the weather was on the chilly side for June, but we still had an amazing time. Thank you !!

Summer Family Gathering

We had a wonderful time at this really big house! 9 adults, 2 infants and 3 young children. We absolutely loved the warm indoor pool with life vests and pool toys! It would be super fun to swim in during winter, too!! We saw elk and deer. We loved the the movie theater room. Though we brought our own dvds- they must have had at least fifty there to choose from along with popcorn and candy. The downstairs game room was fun. Grown ups played Catan or Hearts while the kids watched a Disney movie and played with their toys. We appreciated a really big dining table, as we prepared most of our meals in the well-appointed kitchen. Thanks again!

Amazing!

Pictures do not do justice for this place. The whole place is fully equipped for families and long stays. Our family spent 5 night here and kids enjoyed the indoor heated pool along with the pool toys and life jackets made ready. The bluetooth speaker in the pool area made for a very relaxing time swimming. Another hit was the movie theater. The sound system is just perfectly set up for great surround sound experience. Very comfy and relaxing to spend a night. The kitchen has pretty much everything you'd need to cook your meals. We brought our own pot cooker, groceries before arriving but were surprised to see they had many of what we brought. Although we enjoyed the hot tub only once, it was perfect with an amazing view to the whole backyard. Spent couple of days fishing from the dock towards the Little Deschutes River and although we didn't catch any trout, we made memorable time there. Erik was responsive and also guided us through both contactless check-in and check-out processes and respected our privacy. Cleaners do a very good job in keeping this property spotless. Thank you Erik for hosting our family and we hope you continue to help families build lasting memories.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Wow! This place is huge. As advertised, includes a rec room, indoor swimming pool, and theater room with an impressive sound system. Plus a hot tub, five bedrooms, and two acres of backyard to use or relax in. We got lucky with a snowstorm and were able to have fun sledding right out the back door. This is a great place for family/friend meetups with young kids. Additionally, the wifi was fast and no-hassle, and the host provided amenities such as coffee, candy and popcorn for the movie room, space heaters, bath bombs and face masks for the master suite. The host was quick to respond via text and app messaging, but not intrusive. If I had any criticisms, it would be that some of the aesthetic finishing of the property could be improved -- there are a few places where molding or trim has been removed and not replaced, some of the pool tiling looks incomplete, a stairway bannister was loose, etc. Little things that did not affect the quality of stay but generally could be improved. Overall, a great experience, would definitely recommend and stay again.
