By far one of the most beautiful places we have stayed. Extremely peaceful with unforgettable views. close enough to La fortuna and other activities. would recommend anyone to stay here. definitely need 4WD to get up to the home

As promised - an incredible view. Blissfully away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. Comfortable home - great beds, plenty of hot water: an architectural period piece, frozen in time.The road is indeed best suited for 4WD. We made it with 2WD, but it maxed out our Toyota cross. The host was great- Agustin came to meet us when we arrived - around 8 PM.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! It felt like we were right in the jungle. Our host set up a couple of great tours for us. I grew up in a rural area so the road to the house was not difficult, although the recommendation for a 4 wheel drive was appropriate.

The amazing pictures of the Hawks Nest sold me on this place to begin with. After staying here, I must say that this is one of those rare instances where pictures simply do not do this property justice. All I can say is if you are thinking about it-just stop looking and book this house. I've been all over the world and this is a top 5 stay. La Ventanita Cafe is the only place in the neighborhood you should eat. There are other options that are a hard pass. La Ventanita is amazing food, price, service, views-the whole package-Really, everything else in the neighborhood is just bad. Stock groceries in the city. Pura Vida!

We absolutely fell in LOVE with this place! It is so magical! It's hard to want to even leave the deck to go anywhere. If you're on the fence about staying, just book it!! You won't be sorry!! So glad we found the White Hawk. It made our trip unforgettable! We will be back!!

House in paradise

We had wonderful stay in the house. It has everything: views, privacy, hiking trail to waterfall, short driving distance to La Fortuna, hot springs, etc. Would definitely recommend it to all our friends.

Beautiful immersion experience

Stunning views of the volcano and rainforest from all living spaces including the bedroom. Very peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend. Saw toucans and lots of other beautiful birds right on the property. Hope to come again.

Amazing location, perfect for two couples

We loved our stay at this incredible house. Coffee on the deck while watching the birds. Wonderful hikes right from the property and great restaurants close by. It was absolutely wonderful and the host’s communication was very good. Highly recommend

Amazing Property

We absolutely loved this property. The house was very spacious and the location was amazing. We had coffee in the mornings watching the sun come up over the volcano. We also enjoyed the view from the wall of glass in the evenings when the bugs were starting to come out. Will definitely stay again,

Great Remote Location

This house had the most amazing views from the deck, great room and bedrooms. We could see Lake Arenal, Arenal Volcano and an amazing rain forest. The views were worth the 1 mile bumpy road to get there. The caretakers were great and attended to our every need.

We are so happy ,it was fantastic. Loved the llocation and we thought the Phoenix was really nice we ate there morning and night. We did take the waterfall hike and it also was a special treat.
