Cabañas del Rio is a collection of 10 brand new houses surrounded by rainforest, streams, volcanoes, and waterfalls, but only 3 minutes away from La Fortuna Downtown. All the units are 3 bedroomed, furnished and completely eqquiped in order to fit up to 6 people. Full kitchen, accesories, 3 extra large beds, sofas, 2 A / C splits, TV, one bathroom with digital hot water shower, safe, closets, free WiFi, private garage, and more.
The property itself is about 15,000 square feet, and features a biological garden where frogs, birds, butterflies and many other kinds of animals come along and free, turning the place into a paradise for nature lovers and photographers.
Recently opened in January, 2018, Cabañas del Rio became a great option for those who want to get away from the stress of the cities, but still having all the facilities of the modern world at the reach of their hands ...
The home studios are truly nice, but we are sure that what you'll enjoy the most will be our staff, since we know that our main reason to exist is nothing but our guest's entire satisfaction.

GREAT STAY

This is a great property with amazing hospitable staff. Leo took us out on the night frog hike and we enjoyed the morning bird watching. Great value. Great location.

This is a gem for the price and location. Perfect for our family. New and super clean. 3 king beds in a super efficient small space. The units have one bedroom that is a separate room and 2 other beds are separated by half walls to leave a more open feel. If you need more privacy this may not be your choice but it was perfect for our kids. Nicely stocked kitchen compared to other places we stayed. The manager is super knowledgable about the area. Bonus tropical garden path back to the river is full of birds and frogs. It looks like they are putting in a small pool. Lots of clothes lines to dry wet towels etc. Location is convenient to grocery store and waterfall. Short drive to hot springs. Save you money for excursions and stay here. We stayed in 5 VRBO’s of various sizes and price ranges during our month in Costa Rica. This was on the smaller less expensive side but was a fantastic value and we were very happy with our stay. Will return and recommend to friends.

This condo was not a 3 bedroom as advertised ..

It had 3 beds... but 2 of the “bedrooms” were only separated by a pony wall from the main living area. There was no privacy Other than that it was clean
