Very clean and nice hotel. The room we got was very spacious for two people which included a small table and chairs. Separate dining area located next to hotel which served delicious breakfast buffet style and a main breakfast item. In the common area next to lobby, they served sake and had other treats. Nice place to relax. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Umbrellas are provided if needed at the front. They also have luggage service which was very convenient. Would stay here again. Thank you to the staff for making us feel welcomed to the beautiful Osaka area.

We chose this hotel for 2 main reasons: 1) it’s close to one of the two main subway lines in Kyoto, and 2) it has a washing machine in the room. The location was so easy to navigate, either by bus or subway, and the washing machine was a welcome sight on day 6 of our 12-day trip to Japan. The instructions for the machine were easy to understand. The room was fairly spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The lobby is currently undergoing renovation, but we never heard any construction noise. It looks as though the guest floors have been recently renovated. The common areas and hallways on our floor were spotless, and the carpet still had the new smell. The lobby also has a wonderful coffee machine that makes specialty drinks, and they provide free sake in the afternoon/evening. We did not opt for the breakfast buffet, so I cannot speak to the food, but there is a 7-11 less than 2 minutes away, and we bought breakfast items and bottled water there each night for the following day. There is a fridge in the room. And if you are a runner, this hotel is .75mi from the Kyoto Gyoen (Imperial Park) and .85mi from the Kamo River running path. I recommend both, although the gravel in the Gyoen makes for a challenging run.

Nice location! We loved the coffee bar downstairs! It’s going through a minor renovation and not as nice as the other places we stayed in Kyoto but could be improving. And we had several nats in our bathroom and just a bit outdated.

We were in Japan for 2 weeks and divided our stay in Osaka, Kyoto, & Tokyo. This hotel was my favorite because we had enough space, a tv connectable to Netflix, a drink station (including coffee & tea & SAKE!) they have 3 locations (all within walking distance from each other). It was in a quiet area but the attractions were walkable. The hotel is in close distance to bus and train as well. They offer luggage transfer but cash only! Aside from the space, the reason why this was my favorite hotel was because rhe room has a washer/dryer which is convenient for long stays. We also stayed during the winter time so we dried our coats prior to walking out.

Super convenient spot for a city stay. The subway is just a few steps from the entrance, which made getting around so easy. Having a 7-11 right around the corner was a total life-saver, too. The area is awesome—lots of high-end shopping (like Diesel) and a ton of great restaurants to check out. Plus, there is a solid gym around the corner when you leave if you need a workout. Really loved the vibe here. Highly recommend if you want everything within walking distance!

Second time I’ve stayed here. The hotel is in a great location, quiet neighborhood yet close to transportation and shopping areas. The rooms are clean. Breakfast was excellent. Having washer/dryer in the room was a big plus.
