The property was in a great location, and right down the road from a 7/11. I loved the uniqueness of the townhouse. One thing that should be notated in the listing is that there is not a washer, and the description states so. They responded that we would have to go around the corner to a coin laundry, and wash our clothes there. Had I known ahead of booking this, I probably would have selected another place to stay. The hotel did offer to reimburse us for the laundry cost, however that was not the issue. It was the fact that their description was wrong from the get go. I would ask that they change this, so future guests do not get the wrong idea. The property is old, so you will see some dust. It could have used a good dusting everywhere, as a lot of the higher light fixtures had spider webs on them. The lights on either side of the bed on the wall did not work, and one of them was actually broken. This was not reflected in the listing either. Not sure when that may have happened. Overall, the property was nice, and the owners were very good about responding quickly.

Our stay in Kyoto in this traditional Kyoto house was lovely. The bathroom was the highlight. Having 2 floors was a luxury. There was everything we needed in the house. One thing to note is that the entrance is on the side of the building. Thank you for having us!

Beautiful and traditional japanese home. The host was very helpful in giving us directions on how to check in as well as how to get there. They provided the necessities and responded very quickly with any inquiries we had.

The property was kinda clean but also quite dusty in the corners. Little details could have made it so much better (faucet length made the sink hard to use, there was not enough lighting in the house so it was very dark at night). A big issue was the lack of lighting leading up to the property. Because the entrance is in an alleyway, it was completely dark and would have been scary for a ladies trip. The value for money was ok but the experience could definitely be improved for future guests.

一本細い路地を入って行った先にある隠れ家みたいな宿。周りも静かで、とても癒させる空間でした。コロナのため、外食をどうしようかと悩んでいましたが、キッチン用品が充実していたため、京料理を買い込んで宿でゆっくり食べる事も出来ました。
