Overall experience was average. The space was tight but I expected that so no surprised there. We changed the room from 2 to 3 person room. The concierge remembered to charge the correct amount but did not remember to set up the 3rd bed. I have to ask for the extra blanket myself. I was disappointed with the hospitality here. The rest of the stays were ok. There were a lot of hotels in Kyoto. I would try another one next time.

Staff was great. Very friendly. I've stayed at 4 hotels this trip to Japan. This staff was the best at recommending things to do and what to see given the short amount of time I had in Kyoto. They even helped give me good tips to get back to Kyoto station via train with my luggage. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends. The location was a concern at first, but it was a great location getting home at the end of the day and also not too far from the forrest. Really appreciated the free bus shuttle from the forrest and golden temples. This was a surprise. I suggest see the temple first then see the forest in the afternoon. (and take as much time as you can there at the forrest.

Room was spacious , pillows were small. Went to ask for another pillow, they were out so they offered a pillow to roll up. The washer and dryer , there was only one of each working. 30 minutes was not hot enough to dry a light load.

Great little spot close to lots

Having air conditioning was great as was having the laundry option. Great location. Very small room but this is Japan and not the most expensive place, which is why we booked it! Kind staff.

This hotel is nice and the staff very polite and professional. The breakfast offers a great variety but the rooms are extremely small. Not much space for luggage and the space between the two beds was very small. The bathroom was very a good size at least!
