This is a good family hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with a good coffee machine. Eggs are prepared by request. The hotel is on the beach great for walks. The pool is very nice. The rooms are a bit worn. Carpet and chair reflects this condition. The hotel is within a 5 minute walk to the mall which seems fairly new with restaurants. The hotel also offers major currency exchanges. Overall, it’s a nice hotel and experience.

Outdated hotel

This hotel is in desperate need of a major makeover. The tiles in the bathroom are mouldy with cracks. The paint on the ceiling is peeling due to condensation. The furniture very old. No choice but to stay there since there aren’t many 4-5 star hotels in Kuala Terengganu

Needs updating

The hotel was generally 'tired'! Balcony doors would not open and when maintainance man came to fix them he said the runners were broken so new doors needed and that would take a long time. I suspect in 10 years time they still won't be fixed! Curtains etc very old. The room was always well cleaned. The food was generally cold, even when ordered from menu rather than the buffet. After a day we noticed a sign in the room saying tea/coffee were provided but a charge of 5 ringgit per day. Very small bottles of water in the room, which are usually complimentary were 3 ringgit. We bought a pack of 12 500ml bottles from the supermarket for 2.99 ringgit. In fact we were not charged for these services. The staff were very friendly and willing to help.

部屋は、掃除して落とせないフロアの老朽部分はあるものの清潔である。 水回りも問題なし。 プールは広く、スライダーもあり、こども連れなら楽しく遊べる感じがする。 午後のチェックイン時は誰も泳いでいなかったため、状況によっては貸し切りで使えるかも。 人がいないためか、プールバーに従業員がおらず使用されていない。 プールから続くビーチは白く広い。 その先にある海は、波が高く砂を巻き上げているためか濁っているためシュノーケリングをする気も起きない。 ロビー下にあるメインレストランの夕食ビュッフェは、税込み大人　50リンギット、子供　25リンギット。 今回はチェックイン時にレストランの15％オフクーポンを受け取り、それを使用したため更にお得感が増した。 豪華ではないが、まずまずの内容だと感じた。それと、小さいながらも生バンド演奏も行っていた。 朝食ビュッフェは必要十分な種類。 プール越しに海も見れるので、朝からリゾートホテルの雰囲気を感じることができる。 スタッフは、笑顔がなくぶっきらぼうなのがマイナスだが、依頼すると普通にやってくれる。 タクシーは待機していないようで、ベルボーイに依頼すると5分程度でやってきた。 普通のホテルであるグランドコンチネンタルとプリムラを比較すると、 総合的にはプリムラを選んでしまうかもしれない。

The facilities in the room very terrible.

Wifi is suck. only wifi without Internet connection. should be advertised as non wifi hotel. the towels is not enough. there's no towel to be placed on th toilet 's floor. Toilet's floor is very slippery. I and my friend also slipped a few times. The front desk ladies wear a lot of makeup, not polite and very slow. The bellboy even worst. My friend are pregnant and I assisting her with her luggage. While I struggling with 2 luggages, the bellboys (yes , 2 of them) do nothing and didn't even open the front door for me ( They have a very on. I just standing a few steps away from them. The staff and facilities were terrible. I won't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dirty Hotel with bad pool

Big room with good view, bed comfortable. But many inserts in swimming pool, pool water is very very dirty. Many small cockroaches in toilet & cupboard. Must not stay this hotel again.

We love the fresh wind blows over the ocean, the variety of buffet breakfast served with it's speciality Nasi Dagang and courteous waiters will definitely make us want to re-visit Primula again..
