The place looks Abit rundown as I think majority are working males that lives permanently. However me n hubs had a very comfy sleep even thou the room is just basic! Bed was comfy however pillow was yellowish even thou the pillow case was clean n washed. Shower area is basic with heater but was spoilt I think however it's still works with nice room temperature shower! Overall we did love the place especially our friendly staff who's name is Aladdin really cater to us! Great experience if ur on a budget!

This is my second stay at this guesthouse. It was located in the ground floor, but just on a 1st-floor space. The experiences are totally different, this time is very disappointing. The hygiene of the room is not properly managed. The staff just cleaned the room when we reached. There are some bugs on the bed. No dustbins in the room as well. In terms of facilities, the water flow in the shower-rooms is small, difficult to use. The most disappointing part was the front desk was not 24 hours ready. No staffs were ready when I checked out at 8am in the morning.

I am not of an age to go backpacking & camping. therefore it was a shock. I'd booked for my spritely 66 year old son of a late cousin. We were there for a series of cross country runs. I was unable to climb to an upper bunk bed, in an otherwise furniture free, tiny room. However, I got used to t7 he lower shelf, (without any lighting. On leaving, I praised and congratulated the staff for their attentiveness..

Best avoided

I would not recommend this place. We booked 4 nights and only made it 3 before we left. The place is so unclean and in need of serious maintenance. It looks really different from the phots. No Wi-Fi in the rooms, only the common room. Bedding is super old and worn out, walls are filthy, and the doors have big gaps so you can hear everything outside. It smells really musty, there's mould in the showers, and the bathrooms only had handsoap half the time. On our 3rd night someone entered our (locked) room at 4am using a key. We shouted and they left, but it's not the kind of thing you want to deal with on vacation. The staff was friendly and it's a decent location, but if you can afford to spend a few more bucks a night it's best to avoid this place. Sidenote, although it wasn't the hostel's fault, the Hindu temple next door had a special prayer one of the nights which included loud music and drumming from 12-5am, which kept us up the entire night. This happens once a month apparently.

Close in china town and markets

Booked for a 18 hour stop over in KL. It was perfect for this, the family room as large enough, showers and toilets were clean and the staff helpful and very friendly. It was within a short walk to train station and some tourist attractions.

the guest house is okay i booked a private room shared bathroom. the clerk was kind and helpful. the room was a bed and a night stand. noting more the blanket needs improvement. bathroom was okay but the toilet seat was broken and there is always p. on it. the guests cant p. straight. right behind the metro a great plus logistics.

2N stay, not bad, can meet many types of people.

My room was next to the smoking area, people talking and laughing loudly which I had to tell them off. Need enough rest for a full-day convention next day.

The place had a great vibe and was good value for money. Only complaint is that whenever anyone opens a door nearby to your room is sounds like they are coming into yours, quite unsettling. Would stay again if we were in the area

Robust budget option

Good if on a tight budget. Friendly staff, free tea and coffee. Downside being it's VERY noisy, with thoughtless idiot guests screeching, clomping and re-packing their crackling plastic bag packed rucksacks far into the middle of the night. Close to Pasar Seni Station so convenient if using public transport. Very near to Petaling St.

Overall is ok with the reqsonable price

This was my second time stayed at this guesthouse.. Place is convenient to the lrt station. The bed of my 12 bed room dorm not really comfortable, when sleep on it can feel the steel spring, make my back pain when sleep on it..hope can improve on this.

Fantastic place to stay for value and convenience!

Really friendly helpful staff, very clean, amazing convenient location! Rooms were quite basic (air con, bed and some plug sockets. A couple of hooks for towels would be handy for example), and no soundproofing which was sometimes annoying, though generally everyone was respectful and kept fairly quiet - it didn't seem like a busy, noisy, party hostel. Overall very good, and excellent value, would def recommend and stay here again!!
