Historical visit

Lovely area just out of the city center. Difficult to find with sat nav. Breakfast buffet was not re-stocked as items were used up. Could do with a small electric fan in the room. Good value for money.

this is an okay hotel with not much around and not much offered. It is in general clean and meets the expectations if you are staying a night or two.

Tried To Raise the Nightly Rate Once We Arrived

Cleanliness/suitability of room was generally ok, but, overall, probably not worth the price that was asked. Despite having booked the room in advance, a woman at the front desk claimed she did not have our reservation and probed me to see how much I was willing to pay for the room without a reservation. Fortunately, I'm relatively proficient with German and I had a printed copy of our confirmation in hand. I got the impression the woman was trying to "pull one over" on a "stupid American." Can't remember her name, unfortunately. After my wife refused to pay the price the woman was asking and I suggested we stay elsewhere, a room miraculously became available. Twenty minutes later, the woman from the front desk called our room announcing she had found our original reservation. We will not be staying there again.

A long walk to town

Took a while to find the hotel as my GPS didn't like the address coordinates. Fairly basic comforts at the hotel. The main problem was being locked out of the hotel on my return from dinner! Reception hadn't given me an entry pad code and the place was in complete darkness. Eventually, a guest emerged and kindly let me in. I was not amused...

Auf allen Fotos, die wir beim buchen gesehen haben von den Zimmern gab es Duschkabinen. In der heutigen Zeit finde ich es völlig inakzeptabel eine Dusche mit Vorhang zu benutzen. Weiß ich an wem die schon geklebt hat. Wir kamen vom Konzert zurück und haben aufs duschen verzichten müssen! Ganz schrecklich!!! Zumal es Spuren gab, daß mal eine Kabine vohanden war! Am falschen Ende gespart!!!

We hadden aangegeven rond 9 uur aan het ontbijt te verschijnen. Toen was er nog maar beperkte keuze! Op de foto’s ziet alles er netter en meer up to date uit dan in werkelijkheid. Maar voor ons was het een tussen overnachting op de route en daardoor goed genoeg.

Hyggeligt sted - med hjælpsomt og sød personale. Rigtig god morgenmad! Virkelig god beliggenhed ift. offentlig transport; lige uden for døren! Bestemt et sted vi vil benytte os af ved næste besøg i Kiel.

Hotell preget av eldre standard. Sengetøy, toalett og dusj var rent, men rommet/badet kunne trengt en grundig vask på vegger. Helt ok frokost. Ok hvis du trenger en enkel overnatting.
