After leaving the UK at 5.30 I arrived at the hotel at 20.20 to find it shut! I had emailed them the day before and was told someone would be on reception until 21.00. If this is the level of service they offer I would be wary of booking.

While our room was compact, we had the surprise of getting the honeymoon suite (figures on the door plus spa bath with a river view.

kaksi yötä yhdellä kertaa, ja jo toista kertaa !

Respa kiinni jo klo 21. Netissä (hotels.com) sanottiin, ettei erillistä soittoa tarvita. Hotellissa tuli pyyhkeitä siitä, etten soittanut. Äänieristys olematon. Ovien sulkumekanismit säädetty miten sattuu, rappukäytävän ovi ampui / pamahti kiinni aina, kun joku liikkui siellä. Aamupala toki tarjottiin, mutta ei antanut vastinetta hinnalleen (muistaakseni 7,50 ekee). Yleisellä tasolla sanoisin, että kävin tuolla noin 20 v sitten, ja ajattelin ettei enää tarvitse. Nyt en varatessani enää paikan nimeä muistanut, mutta tuskin oli paljoakaan muuttunut näissä 20 vuodessa. En toki luule, että pienen hotellin pito jossain maaseudulla on helppoa, mutta monet asiat olisi helppo korjata joko ilman tai vähälläkin rahalla...

Lyhyt yöpyminen ennen varhaista lähtöä.

Valitettavasti ehdin tutustua hotelliin vain muutaman tunnin yöunen verran. Ne viisi tuntia nukuin kyllä hyvin. Hotellista en voi arviota tuon perusteella antaa, mutta huoneiden ovet ja lukkojärjestelmän nykyaikaistaminen voisivat olla seuraavien investointien listassa.

Hyvä lepopaikka matkalla.

Huone oli pieni, mutta täytti tarkoituksensa sekä oli siisti. Yksi puute oli katkeileva langaton internetyhteys, sitä ei voinut käyttää vaan jouduin käyttämään oman kännykkäni yhteyttä. Palvelutaso oli riittävä ja hotellin ravintola miellyttävä. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä ja hotelli helppo löytää sekä parkkitilaa oli riittävästi.

Sukulalla olisi töitä...

Ystävällinen vastaanotto mutta paikkaa ei todellakaan voi kutsua hotelliksi, ehkä huonotasoinen b&b olisi parempi. Huone ei ole tätä päivää ja seinät ovat paperinohuet, mukava kuulla viereisen huoneen kuorsaukset ja kaikki oven kolahdukset. Pyyhkeet olivat kuluneet ja osaksi myös likaiset. Sukulalla olisi töitä...

Mukava hotelli

Täältä saimme huoneen vaivattomasti ja edullisesti. Henkilökunta oli mukavaa ja iloisia. Aamupala oli hyvä, ainoa mitä kaipasin oli puuro, mutta näilläkin pärjäsi. Pieniä miinuksiakin oli, mutta niistä info suoraan hotelliin.
