Estabamos alojadas en una habitación para 2, con baño privado. La habitación es espaciosa y tiene baño con ducha y lavabo, separado del wc con otro lavabo. Cuando llegamos a la habitación vimos que en el baño se habían dejado una toalla usada colgada en la puerta, lo que da mala imagen. Por otra parte, el desayuno es muy pobre (nada de desayuno continental). Sólo tenían cereales y tostadas, y 2 variedades de fruta. El hostel está en una zona peatonal por lo que hay que aparcar fuera de esa zona y tener en cuenta que es zona azul

SÅ dejligt et ophold

Virkelig en dejlig oplevelse at bo her. Meget imødekommende receptionist der tog imod os. Værelset fra perfekt- virkelig lækkert og godt. Der var meget rent. Placeringen var lige midt i centrum, med udsigt til bjergene. Det kunne ikke have været bedre

Beautiful place

The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and helpful. I strongly recommend you to stay here and travel around. Go to other small cities and go hiking, if you like it. The city center is very chaming. The hostel has a beautiful mountain view and is quite cozy. Amazing place!

Clean, comfortable stay with magnificent view

Don’t let the term hostel deter you from booking this wonderful hotel. While they do have bunk rooms with shared bathrooms, we booked a beautiful room with ensuite bath. It was quiet and extremely clean. The location of the hotel is walkable from train or bus stations and is in the heart of the historic area of a lovely town. The view from the hostels back terrace and our bedroom was amazing.

This is a property where you have to dig a bit to find out that check-in ends at 8pm. I did think to call and confirm we were going to check-in late, but there was no obvious indication that this was necessary (I was just thinking it was advisable, not necessary) & I never had the time during the day. When we showed up at 10pm, we couldn't even get into the area (there were bollards blocking cars & a key coder to let people in & of course we had no key code). We parked outside & walked in - the hotel was locked & no one answered the phone. They never contacted us in any way to let us know we were pushing up against their check-in deadline. So fortunately there was another reasonably-priced hotel nearby with a 24-hr reception desk. I blame Expedia as well - we just asked for a hotel near the airport & we got this boutique hotel in the old part of Kranj - we just wanted a budget hotel to crash before our flight in the morning.

The staff is very friendly, the room was perfect, rates are competitive, and you’re right in the heart of Kranj. Easy walking to many places to eat and drink, and plenty of sight seeing, hiking, and other opportunities. Great place, hidden gem.

Excellent Value in Kranj

Great location and value. Right in the heart of old town Kranj, which is not a well known city, but has many nice places to explore for a day or two.

We did not have a great stay. It was a very far walk from the station as the main bridge to the hostel was closed but was not told about this. No signage for any public transport or taxi. When we got to the hostel the staff were alright but a bit offish. The shower was broken and you had to hold it up, and someone tried to break the door down as I was showering. I felt very unsafe in this hostel as a woman. When we left we got a taxi recommendation from the staff, waited 45 minutes for one to turn up and got charged an extortionate amount just to get the bus stop. The room was very warm so wouldn’t recommend staying in the summer, the curtain was see through and directly opposite someone’s window. We’ve stayed in other hostels in Slovenia that were much better.

My room was beautiful and very clean. The staff was very helpful. The area around the hotel was fun (there was a music festival going on while I was there). This hotel is close to the airport, and a perfect place to stay if you don't was to travel far after a long flight. This place was a delight to stay in!

A hidden gem

What an amazing little place with the most friendliest hosts ever. The private rooms are tastefully decorated, it is super clean and very quiet. They went out of their way to provide us with a faster internet connection and offered a work location. This is a place full of positive energy and good vibes, due to the entrepreneurial owners, who make it all happen
