Perfect for city break

Had a lovely short break stay at the Holiday Inn, the hotel is perfectly situated so you can get around easily. The hotel staff were attentive and the breakfast was excellent, meaning we were well set up for the day.

Guinness on tap with hard flat beds

The hotel was clean and the bedding did not smell of bleach, which is important to me. We booked a king bed (harder to find) and the mattress was very hard, which is great if you like that. The pillows too were overstuffed and were more like couch cushions (not so great for a bed pillow) so we used a balled up sweater as a pillow instead. The bartenders in the bar by the entrance are a hoot and great for chatting about Krakow. They also had Guinness on draft which was a wonderful treat for Americans who don't encounter that often. Food in the restaurants was pretty good. Excellent location. Had some hiccups with the hotel reception confusing details, like double booking a cab to the airport and confusing our room for another.

The hotel was clean and the staff were pleasant. We had a problem with the toilet not flushing and it was fixed as soon as I reported it. We paid for breakfast one morning as we had an early start and it was good. The hotel is in a good location to walk to the main square where there are many restaurants and bars. I would stay in this hotel again if I returned to Krakow.

We wanted to focus on old town on this trip, and the Holoday Inn was perfectly positioned for that. Easy walk to the old town square with more restaurants than I could count. Bathrooms were well laid out and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet has a very good variety and was kept fresh. Parking was easy but a little pricier than i expected .

The Holiday Inn at Krakow is on par with the top hotels in the area. The room we stayed in, was larger than some others, we have stayed in. We visit Krakow regularly and it's position is ideal for the town square and pick up points for tours. We will stay again. We had a meal and this was top quality. The breakfast was the best we have ever had, every choice was available
