Sama is one of those rare places that feels almost sacred. From the moment we arrived, the sense of calm was immediate — the sound of the ocean, the open spaces, and the kindness of everyone on the team made it easy to slow down and just be. Our cottage was beautifully designed, blending perfectly with the natural surroundings. We loved waking up to birdsong and ending each day with a stroll along the quiet beach. The food was a highlight — fresh, nourishing, and full of flavor, prepared with such care by the chef. The Ayurvedic treatments were exceptional. The resident doctor was attentive and insightful, and the therapists clearly knew their craft. I left feeling lighter, calmer, and more grounded than I’ve been in a long time. If you’re looking for peace, authenticity, and a connection to nature — this is it. Sama isn’t flashy or overdone; it’s heartfelt, genuine, and deeply restorative.

I’m very sad to leave this review as the stay at the hotel was actually very nice and the location is spectacular BUT they double charged me and promised to pay me back but I have been trying to get my money back for a month now and they stopped replying my messages!! I’ve contacted Hotels.com also but the customer service has not been helpful. I’ve never had any issues like this and I’m deeply sad about how this hotel stole my money
