My wife and i have stayed on the island before and this was the best experience we have had yet. The owners were prompt in answering questions. The property was amazing. We will be going back next year!

Love this place!

This is our second time staying at this plantation. This condo was definitely better than our last choice. We absolutely love the location, convenience, cleanliness, and access to the beach! This time, I also specifically chose a top floor corner unit, and this is definitely the way to go. Much more quiet! This condo also had lots of extras like beach chairs and boogie boards. My daughter slept on the pull out couch and it was great for us overall!

Great beach vacation

We loved our stay at this condo. It was in a great location just steps from the nice beach in front of the condo complex and a short walk to Poipu beach. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. It made our beach time very easy and convenient. It was also within walking distance to several good restaurants. The unit itself was nice. The kitchen had everything we needed and we loved the lanai. It was great to eat outside and have a view of the ocean. We did have to run the air conditioner pretty cool in the main area to cool off the bedroom at night, but it was sufficient. The bathroom could use updating but it was very clean and functional. Would definitely stay here again.

Close to Best beach!

Owners were very responsive to any questions and reimbursed for laundry as laundry building under renovation. Grateful for A/C. Close to a great beach, restaurants. No pool on property but free new healthclub across the street (walkable) that does have a pool and drink/food! Def recommend!

Pros: 1. Beautiful and tranquil peekaboo ocean view through the beautiful big trees. 2. Comfortable king bed. 3. Very close walk to the beach. 4. Wonderful lanai to sit and relax. 5. The A/C unit was very nice and worked well. 6. Nice view of banana plants out the kitchen and eating area. 7. Nice Kauai art and other pictures all around inside. A nice touch. 8. Beautiful property with lush tropical foliage and huge beautiful Mimosa trees all around. Cons: 1. Bathroom needs updating and door needs repaired where it’s coming apart by the doorknob. The sharp wood peeling off the door pokes you if you miss the doorknob in the dark. 2. Old toilet doesn’t flush well and the water sticks on often and we had to take the top off often to fix it. That old toilet should be replaced with one that flushes well with new technology. For half the cost of one night stay this toilet could be replaced. We expected better than this. 3. Toilet plunger needs to be replaced. It’s so old and hard it took all my man weight to be able to barely make it work. 4. The sofa hide a bed in living room is not comfortable to sit on. It’s old and chairs near the couch are not comfortable either and are soiled looking. 5. The rug under the coffee table is dirty and should be cleaned or replaced. 6. The curtains to the lanai are very difficult to move and you have to be standing up on a chair to be able to move them either way. Very Frustrating. Maybe a metal rod would help them slide? Definitely

Great spot

We loved this condo for its convenient location. The bed was comfortable and our kids even said the pull out was comfortable. The mini split AC was very nice to have as we weren’t getting much of a breeze in the unit. We would stay again.

Great location and wonderful host!

If you are looking for a great beach in Poipu region, this is the place for you. The location could not be better! Erick is a very responsive host including helping us decide between his properties and including clear instructions with check in/out. We even had an issue in getting the dishwasher started and Erick had maintenance come out while we were gone and they got it started for us. Very clean! Very comfortable bed! Great wind that goes through the place cooling it down immediately (I think there is also AC but we never needed to use it due to the great wind flow). Lovely view from the lanai - we spent hours just sitting there. The bathroom could be updated but it was clean so I don't feel like that is a huge issue. If you are looking for a great place to stay in Poipu where you have a well applianced kitchen to cook in, a lovely view, and a comfortable bed...with the best host around, this is your place. If we come back to Kauai we will stay in Poipu for the great beach and this condo for the great location and experience. Mahalo Erick for sharing your beautiful condo!

The property is beautiful! The condo is right between the two beach green spaces. Near shopping and many restaurants. But make sure you always make time for the sunsets.

Clean, comfortable, and close to the beach!

Great location! We were able to walk to the beach and had access to beach gear, towels, etc. We also use the athletic club on several occasions and enjoyed their facilities. Hosts were excellent in communication regarding check-in and check out and the interactions with the registration office at the facility was easy and seamless. We enjoyed the south side of the island and did several excursions inland. The location of the condo worked out perfectly. Love to stay there again!

Wonderful choice

Very pleased with our choice - great location, close to beach in resort area with many fab restaurants, as well as a convenient base to see the rest of the island. Exceptionally clean and comfortable unit, with aesthetic appeal, in a garden setting. Resort staff friendly and efficient. Laundry and bbq nearby as well as a beautiful koi garden and walks along the ocean - highly recommend!

Wonderful condo with peekaboo ocean view. Had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, ceiling fans, standing fan & AC. Great communication from owner. Great area, beautiful close beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Pros: Loved the location. It was 3 minutes to the beach, walkable to restaurants and a short drive to town. The unit was a great size for a small family and the furniture was very comfy. Lots of fans and AC in the living room kept the place a good temperature. The kitchen has plenty of pots and pans for cooking and a dishwasher as well. Cons: The bathroom could use some updates. Sometimes the noise outside was bothersome because the windows are just screens with wood blinds. It's quiet enough at night, but I was woken by the sprinkler and birds around 6 each morning.

Quiet & Serene

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was very homey and comfortable with everything we needed! I greatly appreciated Erick and the onsite management for assisting with a minor maintenance issue upon our arrival. The location of this condo is perfect and it is so quiet. A pleasant and relaxing stay

Clean, light, airy and well appointed, unit was close to the beach. The kitchen, bath and beach toys had everything needed for our stay. We would love to visit again. The veranda is peaceful and beautiful.

We loved our stay in Condo 170, Kiahuna Plantation Resort! The condo was very well equipped with everything needed, and was comfortable! Good location within the Resort as well.

Nice spot for a few days

This property has all the bases covered. There's a wonderful beach within easy walking distance and a nice view of the ocean from the lanai. Just across the main street is a little shopping center with everything you could need: small market, music, lots of great food options (our favorite was Avenue Cafe). The apartment itself is very comfortable and has great wifi. In Feb. we didn't need air con - the ceiling fans were plenty. I only wish the complex had recycling available - or maybe I just didn't find it...
