This property is right next to the late, very serene and quiet. There are 4 different bath options that are in rotation so you get a chance to experience them all with just one night stay. If you’re lucky, might even get to see Mt. Fuji in one of them. We were and it was life changing.
The food was scrumptious. A variety of different tastes and textures for dinner and breakfast. Loved that there were various vegetables and fruits included in the meals.
The futons were so fluffy and warm, also so comfortable. We slept like babies the second our heads hit the pillows.
The staff were sweet and genuine. A special thank you to the staff at the reception who helped my mom with the medicine for her stomachache, it worked immediately and saved our trip tremendously.
This property is a bit out of the way but the view of mount fuji was amazing!
Onsens where not tattoo friendly (we expected this)
You can get a shuttle bus for the closes station to get you there between 2 and 5 for check in and then a free shuttle bus back to the train station that moring.
Our stay here was immersive and amazing. Every detail was thought of to create and easy and wonderful stay. Loved the pick up from the train station, welcome drink on arrival, dinner and the view from our room!
The place to go to if you want to experience amazing traditional Japanese meals. The staff were very helpful and lovely and the view from our room was gorgeous.
Great hotel! Saw the Fuji mt in room is wonderful! Great food and services. We did not go out though so can’t comment on the nearby activities. The view at 5th floor is fantastic.
We had the best time on our 1 night stay here. We booked a room with a private onsen and half board. It was very easy for us to call for the hotel shuttle when we arrived at Kawaguchiko Station. There is an area for hotel shuttle pick up where we waited for only 10 min or so. Our accommodations were clean and comfortable. The heater in the room worked well. The private bathroom, shower, and onsen all worked well. I loved that we had a view of Mt Fuji from our private onsen bath when the clouds were clear. Our kaiseki dinner was served in our room and it was delicious. The chef even had an extra seasonal dish included with our meal. It was such a wonderful new experience for us. Breakfast also very delicious and set up in the common eating area which had a great view of the the late and mountains. The hotel has a great rooftop Mt. Fuji view of the whole area and I recommend venturing up there. We did not have time to visit the public onsen but I would love to visit here again in the future and try it out. The staff was kind and helpful, everything was clean, quiet, and relaxing.
A beautiful experience. I recommend that you choose the kaiseki dinner in the room and breakfast in the restaurant. Genuine traditional Japanese stay. Loved every second
