Careful when booking this property if you want to be local to shops and or dining. The only closest place is a Don Quijote which is walkable but other restaurants close early and may not be nearby. Trains are not accessible, only buses which are not walking distance. Hard to find taxi at night. Overall a great place if you want to disconnect in nature. Private onsen on own cabin was very nice.

We were running late to check in, so I called the hotel. The staff didn’t understand English very well, yet he understood that we were running late and even stayed late so that we could check in. I really appreciated that.

Ein schönes kleines Hotel, dass noch etwas traditioneller ist als viele Großstadt-Hotels. Der private Onsen und auch der allgemeine Onsen sind klasse! Wenn sie Ruhe und einen Onsen benötigen kann ich das Hotel sehr empfehlen! Leider war das Zimmer etwas älter, die Abflüsse rochen etwas unangenehm und die Lage ist mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln nicht gut. Mit viel Gepäck sollten sie sich eine Buchung gut überlegen, da es höher liegt als die Bahnstation und man mindestens 25min laufen muss. WENN Sie mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kommen, dann können sie durch den Fuji Q Highland parken laufen. Holen sie sich gratis ein Ticket zum durchlaufen und sparen sie sich den Umweg um den Park. Google Maps zeigt die Wege falsch an! Preis Leistungs Verhältnis vom Hotel leider etwas zu teuer (Augenthalt Mitte März).

Just ok

Upon check-in we were given a room which we did not booked. After asking they immediately moved us to the proper one. The rooms are dated . Was really looking forward to the outdoor deep bath, but it had many repairs and there was putty on the bottom. So it was like sitting in gum. I would however like to say the staff were very nice. Breakfast meh. But the coffee was good and strong. They mention being next to the conifer forest and going for a nice relaxing walk. But there was no access.

Nice little place, the breakfast was delicious and the rooms where spacious and relaxing. A short walk to nice food places and an arcade. The outdoor bath was comfortable and warm. You can hear your neighbors moving around though, even on the top floor.

What a wonderful stay with loads of great amenities like the dryer to dry all my rain drenched clothes, the lovely little onsen for warming our cold bodies and the warmth of the hospitality of the staff. Fabulous. The rooms were very comfortable with lots of nice additions, like hot water machine for tea, extra toothbrushes, etc. Breakfast was very good too. A short walk to the bus station with the very clear instructions by the helpful staff during the booking process. And, the best part Fujisan is right there! Best view is from the walkway over the highway to the bus station. A lovely little oasis and so happy we stayed here.

We loved our stay here! The room was was large, clean, warm, (heater and AC units) - we had our family of 6. Four kids ranging in age from 7-16. Three of slept on the beds and three of us slept on pads on the ground, both were comfortable. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Very comfortable. Would highly recommend.
