Pleasant hotel close to railway station

We arrived by train well before check -in time for a one-night stop at the end of our holiday. We soon had our luggage locked away and spent a pleasant afternoon exploring the city. After a comfortable night's sleep we enjoyed a good breakfast and left for the train to Frankfurt and our flight home.

Very close to the main train station

Hotel staff recommended a great German pub close by, the food was great. They will keep your luggage for secured few of charge on the day you check in/out. Free wifi throughout the hotel. The room is very spacious for European standard.

Great location, nice hotel

My wife and I recently stayed at the Ibis in Koblenz. Nice hotel, great location. We were within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. The train station is not far, and despite the close proximity, the hotel is not noisy. Also, all the people I talked with at the hotel were very good at speaking English. A real plus, since my German is not so good! The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was good, too. The bar serves local beers, as well, and the bartender was very friendly.

Great Hotel for Budget Travelers

I really liked how the hotel was close to the train station, which as a plus for me and my boyfriend. It was really easy to find, and the information desk knew exactly where it was! We stayed in Koblenz so we could go see the Burg Eltz castle, which was not the coolest one we saw. The town is OK, I would probably choose other German towns over it, unless you are bent on seeing the castle. The staff was really helpful and friendly, but it was a bummer that breakfast wasn't included, and a little too pricey for my budget. Room was snug, but comfortable enough. Overall a nice budget stay if you're not looking for breakfast.

Room is quiet because of doubled door. Floor is wooden floor and looks nice. Shower room has certain gap between door and wall, so be careful with soaked floor at the end.
