Great Cave For Full Moon Party, No Doubt!

10/10 For location and convenience during Full Moon Party. Otherwise you could get a similar room (not horrible but far from great) anywhere in the Thailand for far less than half the normal price of this place. Think of it as you're paying extra as a party fee. Minimum stay was 3 nights.

Not great, not bad

This was an okay deal. Expensive if you compare to other islands in Thailand or maybe even other locations on Koh Phangan. But if you wanna live close to the full moon party and not live in a dorm or stay at least 5-7 days this price is hard to beat. + Location! Close to the full moon party/beach. + Good wifi. + Friendly staff. + We were able to check in already 8.30 in the morning (didn't have to wait until 14.00). + You "only" have to book 3 nights, most places in Koh Phangan has a minimum of 5-7 nights. - Not clean. Hair, dust, dirty sheets, dirty floors, walls and even ceiling. - It dripped water from the AC, meaning there was always a puddle of water on the floor. - No soap, no smaller towels, no trash bin, no shelves, no hangers. The rooms are basically completely empty besides the bed and a small drawer/table. I did not love this place. But at the same time I didn't meet anyone in Koh Phanghan with the backpacker budget who were satisfied with their stay. It's Koh Phanghan. The standard can be low and the prices can be high, people will still come because of the full moon party.
