We loved that it was close to the beach and even had a swimming pool. The house was very clean and comfortable.

The house is beautiful with nice views of the ocean. Plenty of space for large families. The house is very clean and comfortable. We rented in the winter so we did not get to use the pool but it looks very nice and is well equipped with everything you need. Close to beach accesses and tons of stores and places to eat. Communication was fantastic and made logistics very easy. Would rent again and highly recommend.

Perfect vacation getaway

House is centrally located in obx, super fast and easy to reach the beach. Pool and backyard was great for lounging and the views were top notch. We had a fantastic time with our kiddos and would recommend to other families and couples!

Look no further!

The house was easy to get to and a quick walk to the beach. Beautiful views of the ocean sunrise. Clean house with everything needed to enjoy our vacation.

Summer '25

Our stay at "Life is Still Good", was amazing! Nicely stocked kitchen with everything we needed, great views from the many decks, and easy access to shops and restaurants. Scott was a phenomenal host for this property & if you're planning a family vacay, I highly recommend "Life is Still Good"!

Great location!

House was great for the family and our two dogs. Everyone loved the pool, and the beach was a very short walk. Scott was great to deal with. We even experienced a slight issue with one of the A/C units, and Scott had a reputable service company on it quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location and layout of house, nice pool and hot tub, comfy indoor and outdoor furniture, well decorated, very responsive host. The house did feel like it needed a good cleaning and some general repairs, which we alerted the owner to after our stay; he indicated he would take care of everything. He and his maintenance man were very responsible when we had a stuck window that would not close while we were there.

Great Vacation

Great place to stay on the Outer Banks. House was clean and all amenities were clean and functioning great. We loved the upstairs kitchen and sitting area. Location is convenient to restaurants and the beach a very short walk away. We are an older family so we chose to not climb the dune and walked to the entrey about 5 minutes down the road. Our old knees couldn't handle the dunes!:)

Great location

Exactly what we needed. The pool and hot tub were really great as well as the access to the beach. We were able to bring our 2 small dogs which was a huge plus for us. Excellent Location to shops, restaurants, grocery stores and beach. The house and rooms were good as well as the bathroom and kitchen supplies. Overall a very nice getaway- we’ll definitely be back.

Great spot for families!

Perfect house for three generations! A well designed, clean house with a great floor plan. Privacy and quiet for baby to grandma! Nice pool, hot tub and short walk to beach! Nice area, families out walking, jogging and good variety of restaurants! Helpful and available property manager! Perfect!

Great beach house

We loved staying here. Great views, great location, only one house away from the beach. Fenced yard, hot tub, lots of bathrooms. Only possible complaint would be the grill is charcoal like a park, wish it was propane. Bring extra towels for pool or hot tub. Comfortable and very nice, lots of hang out space and big TV, nice kitchen. Our dogs loved it too and loved walking the beach!

Nice house in Kitty Hawk and Great Experience

Zach was helpful and responsive to all of our questions. We have rented many properties through VRBO, and this was the best experience we've had from a customer service standpoint. The start-up supplies (paper towels, water bottles, and for every bathroom shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet paper) and the beds being made in advance is a huge bonus. We didn't have to spend vacation time making beds and shopping for the supplies. The house was exactly as advertised, if not better. It was clean, more spacious than we anticipated, and we could see more of the ocean than expected. We don't have a single complaint and we would love to rent the house again!

Not clean

I arrived and notified Scott of the condition; dusty and dead bugs in every window sill. Also the deck spindles were not attached on the roof top deck. He did send the inspector- however- he tightened maybe 1, not all of them. Send Scott pictures of the dirty mess. My children were coughing and sneezing due to the dust, checked the filters and they were super dirty in the house. Both outside trash cans were overflowing. When I notified him he asked me to push the cans out?!?!! I am on vacation and it’s not my responsibility to remember. We checked out 3 days early and notified him of that as well. Asked for a partial refund due to the condition. He refused. My husband developed a rash after use of the hot tub. Went to the walk in clinic on our 12 hour drive home and were informed it is a bacterial rash from contaminated hot tub! Notified Scott of that as well and he called me a liar! I have the discharge documents from the doctor! Very disappointed with this host and his attitude not to mention the condition of the place.
