First OBX trip

The property is very nice and in a good location. I would definitely book this place again if we come back to OBX. The included beach chairs and umbrella were a huge benefit since we did not have to bring our own down and take up valuable car space. There were a few things we couldn't find in the kitchen (can opener, pot holder) but not a huge issue. Overall it was a great trip.

Beautiful well appointed house!

Such a great house that’s set up well to share. Love that every room has a king bed with an en-suite. The large multiuser area is wonderful as is the pool table and bar area! We had such a great time! And the set up of chairs and umbrella at the beach are amazing! Spend to get the pool heated, it was so nice at night and just as an alternative to the beach sometimes!

We had a great time and would absolutely stay again. Location is perfect, house was amazing. The pool was perfect to enjoy after the beach or an afternoon break. Not sure why another reviewer complained about soap and toiletries - we stay in OBX often and it is pretty common knowledge that you are provided with essentials to start your week but should bring extra toilet paper, trash bags, preferred toiletries, etc. We did not bring our pets this time but other families did and all were friendly and well behaved. We look forward to staying here again in the future.

The house itself is 10/10. Very clean on arrival, the house is very new, and everything from appliances to furniture was in great like-new shape. Ideal location as well. The bad: the provisions in the house are severely lacking. We were only there for a long weekend, but it was absurd. There are two trash cans in the kitchen, and (confirmed with management company when we had to ask) there are only the two bags which are already in the cans. On top of that, only one bag was a regular tall kitchen bag - the other was one of the small ones used in the bathroom trash cans. Had to buy bags from 7-11 on our third day. There are zero spices aside from salt and pepper. Fridge is kept bare on purpose, so buy/bring whatever condiments you need. Two paper towel rolls. No extra toilet paper. All soap dispensers (hand/shampoo/bodywash) are pretty obviously filled with a water/soap mixture to save money. Hand soap comes out with almost water consistency, and barely foams. We planned on grilling the first night, and igniter clicked but no spark. Messaged mgmt company and they said they’ll fix. Day two, no fix. Day three, no fix (despite being told someone came to fix). Day four, as we are packing to leave in the morning, checked the grill and they left a lighter on the grill grate. A BR fan didn’t work. Very obviously NOT a home that owners rent out for portions of the year, which comes fully stocked with everything. Bare bones. 6.5/10.
