We LOVED our stay at the Douglas House. The staff was beyond friendly, kind and helpful. They took us on a tour of the property when we got there and explained everything to us very well. We felt so comfortable the whole time we were there. The pool area is clean and so relaxing. Great location as well - far enough from the noise of Duval, but close enough to walk to all the fun places. If I have any suggestions it would be the beds. The mattresses were comfortable but super high. My 70-year-old mother had a tough (but fairly hilarious) time jumping up into it. Also, the pillows have seen better days; probably time to replace those. Those are minor issues compared to how wonderful it was overall. We will definitely be back!!

Great location, everything walkable. The rooms and bed were so comfortable. We loved the outdoor area near the pool, very peaceful and relaxing. Staff was very friendly and gave great suggestions. Would definitely stay again if we were back in Key West.

Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a nice patio with palms, water fountain, flowers off the front. Coffee, tea and water available all day/night by the pool. Walk to Duval Street and many of the main attractions of Key West. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would return.

I don’t recall seeing anywhere in the description that the second bed was located in a loft area with steep steps and no handrail. This setup is very difficult — and potentially unsafe — for a senior to navigate. It’s especially concerning at night if someone needs to get up to use the bathroom.

Every staff member we interacted with was great. The apartment was clean and spacious. The location is awesome & convenient to tourist attrations and many dining options. The pool area was clean and very comfortable. We highly recommend this property

Great room …plenty of space to feel not cramped. Very clean, quiet, great location. Enjoy the pool area, get out early if you want some sun. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Look forward to next time down !!
