Aways my fav place in ketch

Grocery store in one side, a great resturant in the other. Full, modern kitchenette in the rooms. Very friendly and gelpful folks there too.

The room has a microwave and cooktop but no pans and or servicing items. When I did the review for the hotel they responded to me that they do have pans for purchase and paper plates and plastic utensils that we just have to ask for them. I said well then a sign saying that or being told that at check in would have been nice. Also while we were there a very intoxicated lady was able to get into the hotel, past front desk and into a guest room that was occupied and the occupant couldn’t get her to leave so the cops were called. Very unsettling.

Nice location from the ferry terminal to the airport but bus is needed from downtown. Local grocery is next to the hotel. Room is clean and enough spacious. Kitchen is convenient but no kitchenware for cooking.

Good choice in Ketchikan.

I chose the My Place Hotel based on their rates and close proximity to the airport. They are outside the busy downtown area. They do not have a restaurant, however, there is a grocery store, A&P across the street with a deli.

Locals Stay Here (even without a discount)

Well, there’s zero discount for locals, even in the off-season and it’s a less expensive to book on hotels.com. There’s an amazing grocery & liquor store across the street with a terrific salad bar and I think like, the only froyo in town and even if you’re not local, a thoughtful assortment of gifts. This hotel is also dog friendly, very comfortable, and with a mini kitchenette.
