Weekend Break in Lakes

Lovely old building, great welcome from Lucy. Room was spacious with a huge comfy bed. Shower had really good pressure and gorgeous toiletries. Plenty of mirrors for getting ready along with good storage space and a good hairdryer. Breakfast was delicious and really good quality produce. Honesty bar in the lounge for those who wanted anything extra. Nice and quiet area but very close to bars, pubs, eateries - less than 5 minute walk. Parking is tricky close to hotel as very little space so we parked in town and walked up with our luggage which was no major issue. Other guests had been able to park closer but it isnt easy to drop in a space. All staff we met were friendly and very pleasant.

Cosy room, staff are friendly and polite attentive. Good choice for breakfast Communal Lounge area that has a honesty box for if you want drinks or snacks whilst in there (although we didn't use) Within walking distance to the town Lots of choice for food and drinks in the town. Would highly recommend

Lovely old house though obviously dated as a result. Parking could easily be an issue though we were lucky. Excellent breakfast. Sound proofing within the property not good. Would recommend highly overall.
