The walking and wildlife from the doorstep is excellent. There is a stunning walk along the lakeside or for the more ambitious hiker Helvellyn beckons. Thirlmere connects to the south Lakes via a spectacular mountain pass, where you can enjoy the many opportunities that Grasmere, Windermere and Ambleside have to offer. An excellent central location for exploring the Lake District.
