Welcome to the Monterey Residence

This stylish, modern and brand new apartment which can sleep six people, is the perfect place to relax and unwind in the heart of Kendal, “the Gateway to the Lake District”, with restaurants, cafes, shops and entertainment on the doorstep.

This apartment has 2 bedrooms and can comfortably sleep 6. In the first bedroom, you will find a luxurious super-king size bed along with a designer sofa bed. The second bedroom contains a luxurious double bed.

As a self-catering apartment, you'll find everything you need for a perfect stay.
The apartment has all the technological comforts of the 21st century to ensure you are at complete ease throughout your stay; including smart locks, a smart alarm system, 24/7 CCTV monitoring, a 50” UHD Smart TV along with super-fast internet access.

The kitchen area is fitted with grey gloss base and wall units with quartz granite worktops and a central island. The integrated appliances include a fridge and freezer, microwave and oven and a dishwasher. Within the island is an induction hob with pop up extractor.

The apartment boasts a stylish wet room, fitted with a white suite comprising vanity wash hand basin, concealed cistern WC and an open shower area, along with a luxury bath. Fully clad with the finest designer tiles, the wet room also has a heated chrome towel rail, extractor and downlights. 

The apartment also boasts an iron, ironing board, high chair and travel cot; making it perfect for families. Fresh linen, bath and hand towels are all included to make your stay more enjoyable.

The period feel of this Grade 2 listed building has also been retained, and being in a conservation area, high quality traditional double glazed sash windows have been installed along with an up to date heating system.

Perfect spot in the heart of Kendall

Wonderful hidden gem in the heart of Kendall which immersed us immediately in the town. Had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. Host was responsive and highly accessible via chat which helped us to answer some questions we had quickly. Great spot to stay! Just make sure you’re ready to haul your suitcases and bags up a few flights of narrow stairs 😊

Fantastic property in central location

Great communication with Imaan throughout and if i had any questions pre trip, i had a quick response. Easy check in process, details sent the day before. Parking is behind on a public car park and was safe. The property is as expected. It's spacious with a lovely kitchen area, great if you're away with family or friends. The bedrooms were very comfortable. Although just off the high street and the lounge overlooks it, there is No noise at all! So it's just perfectly positioned. Tip: Check when you arrive if the heating works /thermostat is responsive, as we didn't (it was sunny when we arrived!) and needed it when we got back in Late on the night but it was late so we didn't wanna call - we was ok in bed under the duvets! I have fed this back to the owner who will raise with management so it won't be an issue. 👍 The shower was disappointing, not alot of pressure at all nor much warmth ? so we chose to wait til we got home and just used the sink the old fashioned way lol! For 1 night it wasn't an issue. Maybe this could be addressed, then it's like the perfect stay. I left my kindle behind accidentally and hadn't realised until Imaan messaged me! It was forwarded and returned to me safely, which is just really honest and fantastic service! Honestly it's a beautiful, well equipped space and perfect for a break in Kendal and as a base through the lakes. The responsiveness from the owners is second to none so if there are any issues i think its safe to assume they will be resolved swiftly. Thanks for a great stay, highly recommend!
