Bond of $100/night taken, with it taking up to two weeks to be refunded. Unexplained extra costs. Parking provided, but we had to pay $32 for two days parking. We could get the same amenities, plus a washer and dryer in Frankton for half the price. We will not be staying there again.

I would recommend this hotel, beautiful location outside of Queenstown. Friendly and helpful staff. The front desk staff were very accommodating and lent me a charger. Parking available. Great studio apartment with wonderful few of Lake Wakatipu. Had a great walk around the lake from the hotel to the Boatshed Bakery and beyond.

We had a fabulous time at Double Tree Hilton, Queenstown. We requested a room upgrade to the lakeview room - totally worth it! The staff were very friendly and service-orientated. On our first morning, a technical problem in processing our breakfast order meant we went without breakfast – not a big deal from our point of view. However, this is obviously something The Hilton management and staff take more seriously. The staff were very apologetic, offering a free bottle of wine and breakfast. The service we received from Cydea, Alberto and the wider team was exceptional and greatly appreciated. The hotel has a great swimming pool and facilities, and with it is perfectly located for those who want to avoid the traffic to/fro Queenstown. Water taxis run every hour (or so) which meant it was a pleasant way to travel to Qntn. This has been our third time staying at this hotel, and we will return again. thank you!

Giz at reception has to be the most helpful receptionist I have ever dealt with, seriously welcoming when you arrive, and nothing was ever to much for her.. Loved the place from arrival, and the cookies are yumm! It’s abit out of Queenstown, say $40 uber ride each way, but UberEats also works and the location is amazing.
