Nuestro condominio cuenta con una cocina totalmente equipada, 1 dormitorio y 1 baño completo. El dormitorio tiene una cama Queen. También hay un sofá cama en la sala de estar. Son unidades muy espaciosas. Las unidades están completamente surtidas con ropa de cama, toallas y todos los utensilios de cocina y electrodomésticos.

El complejo está ubicado en la histórica ciudad de Kapaa, Kauai. Puede ver el amanecer en la mañana sobre el Océano Pacífico o incluso ver ballenas durante la temporada de migración. El complejo se encuentra a poca distancia de restaurantes, boutiques, tiendas y supermercados.

El baño está equipado con jabón de arranque, champú y acondicionador, junto con un secador de pelo. Hay una plancha y tabla de planchar dentro de la unidad también.

Great Location with Beautiful Views, Minor Room Issues

We really enjoyed our stay in Kapa’a! The location was fantastic, just steps away from the water and right along the scenic 8-mile trail. The unit had everything we needed, and we especially loved the balcony where we could relax and watch the waves.There were a couple of minor issues to note. We experienced some torrential rains during our stay, and one window leaked each time. Additionally, the room we stayed in was one of the older units that hadn’t been updated yet, and the floors were quite noisy.The air conditioning didn’t quite reach the bedroom, but we found that opening the windows helped keep the space comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place for its location and amenities!

I loved the staff they were super helpful and friendly but I didn’t like that my room wasn’t ready when we got there. It took them 1 1/2 for our room to be cleaned and ready but when we got in our room smelled so clean and fresh.

Family and friends Trip

Our room was amazing! Had a garden view as well as a spectacular ocean view! We occupied 6 rooms, and all were great! Clean and comfortable. Loved that we could get a new beach towel everyday :) The pool was amazing as well. They have so much to do there on the property, and lots of games you can borrow! Fun for all! Can't wait to go back!

Could have been great

The grounds are nice and staff was courteous. The room was fine with the exception of one pivotal item. The air conditioning is not sufficient to cool the bedroom and it was hot. I am a firefighter from the desert where it is very hot, so its not like we cannot take heat. This is a known problem as we spoke to others there and they had the same experience with the one bedroom units. We tried opening the windows at night to get outside air, but all of the bedrooms face the common walkway and our neighbors smoked marijuana every night and it would waft in the room and there wasn't enough air movement to cool off anyway. There was a portable fan there, and we placed it in the hall to try and direct some of the air conditioned air in the bedroom, but it was still uncomfortable at night. The complex needs to have an additional head unit for the AC in the bedroom. Everything else was ok, location is convenient for the island. This is my 7th time to Kauai, so I feel I have a decent data set for where to stay-if you like to be comfortable at night give this one a miss.

Amazing vacation

We will be coming back as this place has everything. We stayed 22 days and the staff are great. Lots of places walking distance from condo. The beach out front is great. You can rent chairs, snorkeling gear , coolers and more. Lots of fun stuff to do on sight also games and have a pool.

Nice!

Love the restricted ocean view and the sound of waves crashing onto the beach. Condo is very close to the beach, but waves at the time were too rough for swimming. But no problems, there are other beaches with much calmer water a short drive away.

The location and the complex were very nice. Check-in wasn't until 6pm which is not convenient after a long flight. FYI, the unit does not have air conditioning in the bedroom.

Very nice, beautiful gardens wonderful beach front condos

The property is very nice clean, and safe. The condo almost had everything we needed. The only problem we had is you had to pay to rent chairs to sit on the beach. Otherwise, I would recommend others to stay there. I would also stay there again.

Simple unit in nice resort

This was a good place in a great resort for a family of 4 with small children. It was simple and dated, but reasonably priced, clean, and served the purpose of being a place to sleep and prepare/eat some of our meals. The property manager was sweet and check in was a breeze.

Our experience at pono Kai was great most everyone was friendly everting was clean and beautiful. Beautifully landscaped the grandsons loved the pool & koi pond as swell as the giant chess set. It was a blast to see all the wild chickens!

Great facilities on the water

Each morning we would wake up and walk across the facilities to watch the sun rise over the ocean. There weee nearby hammocks and other seating just for this purpose. The condo was clean and well maintained. This was a very easy place to fall in love with.

10 Yr Anniversary getaway

This was our 2nd time to Kauai and staying at Pono Kai was a great choice. Central location was key for everything we wanted while on the island. Cuts the road time down a lot allowing for more relaxing. Mahalo we really enjoyed our stay!!

Love the Pono Kai

This is the first time we have stayed here through VRBO, although we have stayed at this property twice before. The owner was accomodating and her communication was top notch. The unit was clean, and had all listed furnishings. We would stay again. That said, there are some things to note: 1. The couch demands replacement!! It is FULL of lumps and is terribly uncomfortable. 2. Lighting can be dim. There are enough lamps, but the wattage used is low. Bathroom lighting could be improved by using LED lights. 3. This is NO fault of the owner, but this is an older property. You can hear people through the bedroom wall (I heard people snoring), through the ceiling, and even below you. If you aren't prepared for that, look elsewhere.
