The room was not clean and the walls and nightstand drawer were downright filthy. There were bugs, dead and alive, and the bathroom door didn't have a handle, just a hole where one should be. We were supposed to stay for 5 nights. We ended up staying about 10 minutes before deciding the state of the room was too bad. It's been almost a month and they have not given us a refund. Hotels.com told me they pursued one on our behalf multiple times, but that Extended Stay appeared to be unwilling. We are not talking a refund of just 1 night, but of 5 nights, so it is a significant chunk of money. It's very unfair that they're holding onto it when we didnt even stay due to unsatisfactory conditions. I waited this long to write a review because I had no desire to hurt their business if they made things right and I wanted to give them a chance to do so. But they have not.
