Great location in the center Kona's entertainment district & waterfront along Ali'i Dr. So many restaurants, gift shops, coffee shops & stores are a short walk from the Kona Islander Inn. The condo suited our needs during our stay & communication with the host was easy & fast.
We had a lovely time using this as our home base to explore Kona, celebrate the holidays, and soak up a slower pace. Coffee on the patio, a cozy bed after a day of exploring - perfect for what we needed!
This was a fantastic location in downtown Kona. Quiet town, lots of sunshine, great food. Couldn't have asked for a better place to go in the middle of winter to recharge.

When choosing accommodation in Kona, 3 criteria were important to me: 1. interior comfort (furniture condition, availability of household appliances, and toiletries, so you don't have to lug everything around); 2) proximity to restaurants and shops; 3) availability of parking so you can explore the island by car. My wife and I traveled together and we're happy with our choice. The apartment has all the necessary appliances (my wife especially appreciated the iron and coffee machine 😊), nice and comfortable furniture, an excellent mattress, pillows, and a blanket. The room's location within the complex is good (roadside rooms are exposed to the rumble of cars or lively groups). I'd especially like to mention the terrace. It's very green and cozy! We loved having breakfast there! The owner is quick to respond. I highly recommend it!
Conveniently located at the center of the Ali'i Drive strip. Clean and well maintained property with a mix of vacationers and permanent residents. The pool is secluded from any outside traffic and noise. Parking is limited. Laundry facilities are adequate but the change machine and supplies dispenser were inoperative. The combined bathroom, shower and kitchen did not lend itself to cooking meals. The small refrigerator did not have a freezer. We ate snacks and had a restaurant meal once a day. Overall a relaxing vacation.
