We chose this property for its great location near Turtle Bay and as a central hub for the activities we were planning on the North Shore. In that respect, it was ideal. A short walk to the Ritz, and all of the amenities there was awesome, it was quick to get to Pupukea & Haliewa or Kahuku & Laie and nearby beaches. Best of all are of course the myriad awesome beaches nearby. On the downside, and these are observations that might be minor complaints for some people: this place has a rather complex air conditioning system (multiple HVAC units) that made it challenging to balance comfort with noise and effectiveness. The TV in the master bedroom was non-operational. There were no kitchen linens to be found, and when we communicated this, we received a midday message the next day, "We're here to bring your kitchen linens...". We are on vacation in Oahu and out enjoying the island. No further communication about the issue, no offer to come back later, didn't just leave the linens on the front porch ... so we used bath linens in the kitchen for the duration. The pots and pans have seen better days, and when they get replaced, probably best not to buy brands that are coated with PFAS materials that readily chip off into your food. Some more details about the details would also be nice - multiple instructions to not hang beach towels on the beck rail, nothing indicating that the unmarked black fob opens the pool gate, not the key on the ring. Enjoyed our stay!
