To begin the condo is right on the water so that is nice. Bring binoculars if you want to whale watch. You can see them but they are way out there.One thing that seemed oddly missing is that the unit has no air conditioning which seems odd but may not be for Hawaii. There are ample fans but it would have been nice to know that there was no AC. It was hot in the primary bedroom but you could get a nice breeze going if you left the front screen door open as well as the back screen door.Another thing that was oddly missing was the fact that this complex was on a shared water system--much like a hotel I guess yet I have never run out of hot water in a hotel. We came up from the beach one day at 3 pm and--you guessed it--no hot water. My husband had to shave with cold water a couple of times. This is personally a deal breaker for me.There are also ants. I was advised by Joseph that that is normal for Hawaii but again it would have been nice to know ahead of time. He indicated that he communicated this but I couldn't find any arrival or departure instructions and I've been using VRBO for a while now. He also wasn't always quick to respond with instructions when asked either.The entire place could benefit from new paint. It's not bad just needs a refresh. I have rentals as well and get the desire to maximize intake and minimize output but after a while you have to bite the bullet.The very best thing about our entire stay was the back porch. Wonderful sunset

To start things I would like to state how clean the room was upon arrival for being a ground floor beach side unit. There is little to no noise from other guests as it is a lower key resort, but that made relaxing so much better to us at least. There’s also no immediate beach in front of the complex but there is one easily within walking distance of the room. And this appears to be the last resort in the line. Because of this the view from the patio was far better than any other we saw nearby due to little to no foot traffic.In short: very clean, quiet and private, well stocked kitchen, garage parking so the jeep top can stay down, great ocean views from every window.

We loved the view! Beaches were close via car. We have family with limited mobility so walking to beaches was not an option. The condo was clean. Joe was immediately on hand to help when needed.

What a wonderful condo..we especially liked it because it was a ground floor condo w patio but then you felt it also extended to the grassy areaAnd then to The pool. We also liked that is a corner unit and very quiet. The property is well maintained and walkable to shops Every morning you sit outside w your coffee watch the turtles n most day a rainbow How special is thatThe Condo was well equipped and we especially liked that they had some kitchen spices n other little things like thatSunsets were amazing I think you will enjoy your stay..

Good relaxing unit

We stayed in this unit for a week, and everything was great. The unit matches with photos, and it is pretty clean. They have all you need for a beach trip, board, chairs, nice yard along with dining area, chairs outside. You could see whales and turtles while sitting on the back yard. Overall everything was good, if you keep open the door, you could get lizard or cockroach inside, but I assume this is the same everywhere, keep doors closed!

We loved this property. The ground floor unit was amazing with well appointed furniture, a comfortable bed, and the lanai furniture is the best on the property. We saw many whales and turtles from the lanai.We will be back!so nice to have beach chairs

Amazing

This is our second stay here. Amazing place! Great, prompt communication with manager. Barbecues were spotless, and the heated pool was great. Amazing views. We watched whales all day long. There was nothing missing from the condo. Large number of fans kept the unit cool. Parking was underground which kept our vehicle cool, plus there was a car wash station provided. Looking forward to booking again soon.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The view is amazing. The lanai was our favorite place to be…whale watching and turtle spotting was nonstop. It is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee and evening cocktails with the spectacular sunsets as a backdrop!The unit was extremely clean with very comfortable beds. We appreciated the little touch’s- charging ports throughout, plenty of paper products and cleaning supplies( laundry detergent, dish soap etc), beach gear( chairs, coolers,boogie boards, snorkel gear) and kitchen supplies. The pool is just outside the unit and heated! The grills are cleaned daily and look brand new. Joseph was an attentive host.We highly recommend his place!

Stunning views, great location/close access to what we wanted

We had a wonderful time here. Communication with our host before leaving for the trip was fantastic. He was responsive and helpful. The view from this ground floor unit are amazing. The sliding glass doors can be pushed back so you really get that indoor/ outdoor living feel. We have a three year old so the bottom unit was perfect for her because she could go out on the grass in front of our unit. It feels private, even though there is a semi public walkway along the retaining wall right out front the property. We only notice people at sunrise and sunset, and they seemed more like locals. No sandy beach access in front of this property but a 1 minute walk along that wall to the south gets you to a nice little beach with sand. This area, Kahana, is less touristy and that felt nice in terms of less crowds and having a different experience from our past “resort” style trips. There is a little coffee shop in the strip mall that is up the street. They have bagels/ other breakfast items too. We liked this location a lot. Downtown Lahaina was a quick 15 minute drive, Kaanapali even closer, and we felt it was easy to access other beaches— Napili and Kapalua. We needed to do some quick childproofing for our three year old as there were many breakables within reach in the unit. We made the transitional bedroom work, but it might not be as successful for families that need more separation for kids with early bedtimes or naps. The furnishing were quality.

It was clean. well stocked kitchen plus extra stuff like oil, spices, etc. The view was fantastic. It was very private even though we were on ground floor. The walkway beach side is just internal sidewalk for the resort that doesnt go anywhere. Parking in garage was easy. Beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels. The washer dryer is smaller stacked kind. Little lizards on the patio. We named one Liz. Super cute! Never saw a roach. Thanks Liz!! Some very small ants if you dont keep food picked up. Short walk to convenience store, snorkel shop, Maui brewing, sushi. . Highly rate this place. Top three: snorkling at Honolea bay early. Blowhole hike. Whale boat tour. The patio windows open all the way up. Only downside was you cant lock up when the patio doors are open. But it seemed very safe.

Wonderful Property

The condo was clean and the furniture very comfortable. The view was beautiful! You can open up the sliding glass doors for the outdoor/indoor experience. We saw whales and turtles from the veranda. Joe was very helpful and was easy to get ahold of. We had a slight problem with the internet and he took care of it immediately. We had a wonderful time. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was fantastic and very well represented by the listing. We were able to whale watch off the porch and enjoyed morning coffee and pastries while whale watching. The unit provided plenty of space and the fans provided by the owner helped keep the unit cool. Property is well located and easy to get to get to everything we wanted to do. Beads were comfortable and our group of 5 found the accommodations spacious and accommodations perfect for our trip. Location right on the water was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for more. Only issue were some bugs in the coffee maker so we weren’t able to make our own coffee… but the coffee shop just 5 minutes away filled our need. Absolutely would recommend staying here! Will stay again on our next Maui trip

Exactly what we wanted

I wanted an oceanfront condo with multiple bedrooms in west Maui and I didn't have a huge budget. I wasn't sure I was going to get everything I wanted. I did. This place is gorgeous. It's literally right on the water - you can feel ocean spray on the lanai when the ocean is active. There's a good beach about a 2 minute walk away. The pool is pristine clean. The unit is clean, modern, well appointed. And the door to the lanai is one where literally the entire front of the unit slides back so you have a massive open door. And you can open and close this huge set of sliding doors with one finger - impressive engineering. If you've scrolled by this unit a few times wondering if it's too good to be true, it's not. Reserve this one now.

Wonderful paradise!

Loved the unit. Well furnished with lots of thoughtful details. Kitchen was stocked with bowls, trays, pots & pans, including usual expected items. We ended up cooking more than usual & eating on the beautiful lanai watching whales & amazing sunsets. The portable A/C unit in the master was a great touch & very much appreciated. Beach chairs for everyone & boogie boards for use too. Joe was very prompt in communication. Would love to return again someday. Excellent stay.

Quiet location

Nice location in a quiet community. Clean and easy to check in. We appreciated the beach chairs to use while we stayed. Only thing was that the couch in the pictures is not the same couch in the condo.

Awesome place to stay

I could not have been happier with our stay. Location is great. Loved being able to go out on the lanai and watch the waves. Close to several great snorkeling beaches, shops and restaurants. The location was clean and well stocked with everything that we needed to cook with. I really appreciated all of the little details that were thought of to make our stay excellent. The property manager was great and very responsive to messages. I truly felt that he was very invested in us having a good stay and enjoying the property. This will definitely be the first place I look for when we stay in Maui in the future.

Unbelievably beautiful

This has yet to be the best VRBO stay I’ve ever had! The house is absolutely gorgeous with a full opening of the doors leading to the beautiful sight of the beach. The entire living room has pocket doors that fully opens to the outdoors creating the most breathtaking views of the water. The entire place is fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. From laundry supplies, linens, towels, and cooking supplies, they got you covered. They have put everything you could possibly need in this home. Very thoughtful and generous. There’s a washer and dryer in the unit also. This home is quite spacious and beautifully decorated. I rated this 5 stars despite its shortcomings: this is NOT a two bedroom. It is a one bedroom home with two twin Murphy beds in the living room. Also, there are tons of ants in the bathroom and kitchen, so don’t leave out food and personal items that you don’t want the little critters to share with. I believe this is just common in tropical places? There’s only one spot for a car. Unfortch, you’d have to be creative if you have a second car. Also, the portable AC is only in the bedroom. Despite all of this, it’s still a 5 star stay for me because I absolutely loved the view! Plus, the host was very responsive and helpful. All the more to love this place! I hope if I’m back in Maui that I will stay here again.

Amazing Location

This is an amazing location! Gorgeous views and close to literally everything. It slept: me, my wife, 12 year old and in-laws comfortably. There is access to a little beach and it was perfect for boogie boarding and even a little snorkeling….. we also saw turtles from the lanai all day long. We will definitely stay again and watch the sunset go down between Molakai and Lanai! **Renters were awesome and quick to reply.

Wonderful stay in Maui

Can't beat the location, about 10 yards from the beach. About a 10 minute drive to Front street, Lahaina. Views from the porch are stunning.
