The onsen facilities are wonderful. The hotel is a short walk from Tenmonkan, where many shops and restaurants are located. Most of the attractions in Kagoshima Chuo are walkable from the hotel.

Had a love/hate relationship with this hotel. Room was small, not particularly clean. Bed was hard and lumpy, pillows flat, and a/c not very cool. Bad smell in the room until we ran water down bathtub drain. However …. The hotel has a wonderful onsen area. Spas are from natural hot springs. In both men’s and women’s areas there was an outdoor onsen, an indoor onsen, cold pool and sauna.

Loved our stay at this hotel! The bathing facilities and free amenities were probably the highlight of my stay. You can check how busy the baths are via the hotel tv in your room, so that was helpful in deciding when to go. Free late night udon and free after bath popsicles/yogurt were a nice plus. There's also a welcome dessert in your fridge when you arrive! I really enjoyed the manga library they have in the 'cooldown' room outside the baths. The location was also great since it was near a lot of the things we wanted to see and do in Kagoshima. Only complaint was that the room didn't have enough charging outlets or USB outlets, but it didn't effect my overall enjoyment of my stay. Would stay again and highly recommend!

The hotel is conveniently located on the main street; the hot spring was good. My comment on improvement is on the cleanliness especially there is some mold in the shower room, which is only seen when the shower door is closed.

Best value hotel of my trip. Free Ramen at certain times of day, free ice cream at certain times, manga to read. Jelly and water in fridge upon arrival. Perfect!
