I was not very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. My family had planned to spend our vacation here along with two other families of our friends — a total of 12 people.
We booked our rooms several months in advance and provided specific requests regarding our accommodations.
When my family and I arrived first, we were assigned a room with a view almost entirely of the parking lot near the hotel’s main entrance. As a result, we constantly heard the noise of cars from inside the room.
My son has asthma, and our doctor recommended a change of climate to help him feel better. To follow this advice, we needed to keep the balcony door open for fresh air. However, due to the heavy noise and car exhaust fumes, it was impossible.
Additionally, the lock on the bathroom door was broken.
I immediately went to the front desk to ask for assistance. The staff member told me that if I was unhappy, I should call Expedia and cancel my reservation.
We had just flown 5.3 hours to get there and had planned to enjoy a vacation with friends who had booked rooms at the same hotel to be with us.
I asked to speak with a manager, but I was told that all managers were in a meeting and that someone would call me back. No specific time was given, even after I asked for clarification.
During our entire 7-day stay, no one ever contacted me.
As for the broken bathroom door — it was repaired once, but the next day it was broken again.
I am very disappointed with the level of service provided at this hotel.
