They really are great little duplex bungalows. It has a nice kitchen, big inside and outside living room areas. And, amenities are very nice.. It is a little difficult to find them, hidden behind the retreat center

I would recommend the Bungalows! The bungalow was modern and clean. I loved the large glass windows. Kitchen was well stocked. I didn’t see the sugar and other items in the cabinet so I ended up buying a few things. Overall a great location, clean and modern.

Drove past the Joshua Tree Retreat Center sign for years and had no idea how wonderful it is on that property. First time staying in the Bungalows and can’t wait to come back again. Lovely modern room, great outdoor area and miles of great hikes. Everyone who works there, cafe, book store, really nice and helpful. Saturday morning swap meet was nice as well. The Vortex is real!

The property is beautiful, close to nature, and a great escape from the city. I stayed during the Queens of the Stone Age show performed there, which it was incredible. Once in a lifetime experience. I’d appreciate TVs in the houses (but understand it goes against the spirit of the resort’s mission), and perhaps a cleaner hot tub. Otherwise, amazing! Thanks :)
