I traveled with my husband and three kids and we had a really pleasant stay at the Meadowlands Plaza Hotel and wanted to highlight a few things that stood out. First, I appreciated the thoughtful touches in the room—like the special towel for removing makeup. The hairdryer was small but surprisingly powerful, and it even had a built-in nightlight, which made it easy to find my way to the bathroom at night without turning on bright lights. The bathroom itself was great, with a modern shower and strong water pressure. The room was spotless and completely free of any unpleasant odors, which always makes a big difference. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. In particular, the front desk associate kindly helped me with breakfast coupons, which I really appreciated. Another big plus was the free shuttle service—it’s very convenient for getting around the area and made the stay even more comfortable. Breakfast is served warm in the on-site café. While the selection isn’t huge, it covers all the basics: scrambled eggs, sausage, baked potatoes, pancakes, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, juice, coffee, muffins, bananas, cream cheese, and butter. Plus they have a coffee station at the front desk. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay with thoughtful amenities and great service. I would definitely consider staying here again

Breakfast buffet was good: many options and better than your average hotel complimentary breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the shower was great. I would stay here again. Note check out is 11am, not noon as advertised online.

The staff at the front desk had a very bad attitude. a And also demanded IDs from all adults (I understand that but I don’t understand the attitude of how they demanded), something that had never happened to me before in any other hotel. And I travel a lot with my family and friends.

I recently stayed here and unfortunately wouldn’t return. The lobby is extremely small — about the size of an average living room. Check-in was slow because staff had to handwrite breakfast vouchers for each guest for every day of their stay. In 2026, there has to be a better system — simply scanning a room key would be much more efficient. Breakfast was disappointing. Everything tasted unseasoned, and the potatoes were undercooked. We tried it once and chose to eat elsewhere for the rest of our stay. Our two-queen room was far too small for 2 adults and a teen. There was barely space for luggage, and the second bed felt like an afterthought; you had to walk sideways between it and the closet. The closet was a decent size but had no lighting nearby, making it hard to see clothes. The bathroom appeared to be the only recently updated area. Despite being a non-smoking hotel, there were multiple burn marks in the carpet. Housekeeping was the most uncomfortable issue. Even with a Do Not Disturb sign up, staff said entry was required by policy. If a guest declines service, that should be respected. If safety is the concern, they could confirm with the front desk instead. Staff continued knocking after we said we weren’t dressed. There’s also no in-room safe. Checkout was slow when I requested a receipt, and staff seemed disengaged and unpleasant. The only positive was that it was quiet and fine for sleeping away from city noise. Overall, I wouldn’t stay again.

Very clean place. Everything worked as it should. Staff was outstanding. Not to thrilled about the restaurant food quality was meh. However I will absolutely stay at this hotel again. My daughter craved to stay on a higher floor and the gentleman working put us on the 7th floor. She was overly excited. Thank you for a great experience.
