The holiday house is our neighbor house!

So we live next door, but they have their privacy, separate entrance, terrace and garden.

Check in after 15: 00h. Check out before 10. 00.

The house with garden, private entrance, Protect Terrace is 100 meters from the Dollard dike. Silence and nature are the passwords here. The house is suitable for couples, families (with 1 or 2 children) and furry friends (pets). Nearby (3 km) is the cozy fishing village Ditzum with several restaurants and (our former!) traditional pub.
Includes sheets and towels. Satellite TV, radio, WiFi, washing machine. Laminate, carpet and tile floors. Sun terrace with furniture, garage for bicycles. Pet allowed!
3-room house, 2 floors, approx 80 m2. Ground floor: kitchen (4 plates, oven, coffee maker, kettle, toaster). Shower / bath, separate toilet. Infrared sauna for 2, stairs to the upper floor: living room with sofa and dining area. Twin bed in separate bedroom....

Schöne kleine Auszeit

Uns empfing ein freundliches Paar, das Häuschen war liebevoll eingerichtet, alles, was man brauchte war vorhanden. Draußen trockene Kälte zum Teil mit Sonne - was will man mehr im Februar?

Schöne Gegend, für frei laufende Hunde ungeeignet

Da unsere ruhige Mischlingsdame am Dollart nirgends freien Auslauf fand, da überall Leinenzwang besteht, haben wir unseren Urlaub vorzeitig abgebrochen. Sehr schade für diese schöne Umgebung. Wer von der netten Unterkunft aus mit dem Hund losziehen will, der ist steht's auf die Leine angewiesen. Um Freilaufgebiete zu erreichen, muss man erst Recht lang (1 Std. +) mit dem Auto fahren. Dafür buche ich keine Unterkunft, in der Hunde erlaubt sind. Das liegt nicht an den Vermietern, ein kleiner Hinweis auf diese Situation wäre bei der Wahl des Urlaubsorts allerdings hilfreich gewesen.

Herrliche Ruhe

Super nette Gastgeber, Check-In völlig unkompliziert (inklusive Blumen und Flasche Wein), man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Haus ist groß und liebevoll dekoriert. Die Einrichtung schon was älter, aber zweckmäßig und sauber. Ungewöhnlich: Wohnzimmer ist in der oberen Etage, bisschen unpraktisch, wenn man einen kleinen Hund hat, der sich die Stufen nicht rauf und runter traut :-) Der Garten ist wunderschön, die Lage total ruhig. Leider darf man mit Hund nicht über den Deich, es gibt aber Hundestrecken in der Nähe des Hauses.

Tolle Landschaft

Wir haben uns von Anfang bis Ende sehr wohl gefühlt. Vom Haus aus konnten wir direkt zur Bohrinsel laufen, das ist einfach traumhaft. Das Haus hat einen schönen Weitblick auf die Landschaft und war sauber. Nette Gastgeber. Ein Begrüßungs - und kleines Abschiedsgeschenk wurde uns bereitgelegt . Vielen lieben Dank nochmal dafür.

Toller Rückzugsort für entspannte Tage

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft von Lydia & Rob sehr wohl gefühlt und als kleine Familie ein paar tolle Tage dort verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist gemütlich eingerichtet und mehr als ausreichend mit allen Dingen des täglichen Bedarfs ausgestattet. Hier hatten wir Ruhe und durch die tolle Terasse und den Garten sowie der Infrarotsauna viel Erholung. Lydia und Rob sind sehr hilfsbereite, freundliche und herzliche Gastgeber. Auch sie machen diese Unterkunft besondere! Wir können das Haus Horizont ohne jegliche Bedenken weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne in Zukunft nochmal wieder!

Ruhig und Erholsam

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen erholsamen Kurzurlaub und haben diese Ruhe einfach nur genossen. Diese Dunkelheit nachts (keine Laternen) kennt man als Großstädter fast schon gar nicht mehr und wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so viele Sterne am Himmel gesehen 😍 Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gemütlich und hat alles was man so benötigt. Sogar unser Hund hat sich schnell "Zuhause" gefühlt. Und wenn man doch noch frischen Pflaumenkuchen vom Vermieter bekommt,fehlt einem an nichts mehr 😋 Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und bestimmt kommen wir mal wieder. Urlaub der Gegensätze

Wir haben eine wundervolle Woche am Deich erlebt. Ruhe und Entspannung, ein wenig Trubel während unserer Städtetrips (Papenburg ist wunderschön) und am späten Nachmittag wieder zurück in die Idylle. Das Ferienhaus war mit allem, was man brauchte ausgestattet. Der große Garten lud auch mal zum Faulenzen ein. Ansonsten konnte man herrliche Spaziergänge mit dem Hund machen. Ein großes Dankeschön noch einmal an unsere tollen Gastgeber, Lydija und Rob. Lieb und unkompliziert. Ostfriesland und seine Bewohner sind auf jeden Fall eine Reise wert. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Tolles Haus, tolle Vermieter!

Liebe Lydia, lieber Rob, als wir bei Sturm und Regen kurz vor eurem Ferienhaus beim Wenden im Matsch steckengeblieben sind, da dachten wir, schlimmer kann der Urlaub kaum beginnen... Aber ihr habt uns sofort geholfen, unsere Sachen aus dem Auto zu holen, und am nächsten Tag habt ihr unser Auto aus dem Matsch gezogen. So viel zupackende, herzliche Hilfe, die keinerlei Gegenleistung erwartet, ist selten zu finden. Habt nochmal herzlichen Dank! Euer Haus ist ein Traum - kuschelig, gemütlich, viele Kleinigkeiten, die eine schöne Atmosphäre schaffen, und das i-Tüpfelchen sind deine Bilder und Fotografien, Lydia. Die Wärmekabine ist super. In der Umgebung kann man tolle Vogel- und Naturfotografien machen. Das Internet war zwar leider etwas langsam, was das Streamen von Filmen und Musik betrifft. Aber Natur, Lesen und Spielen sind im Urlaub sowieso vorzuziehen. Und unserem Hund hat's auch gefallen. Wir können das Haus jedem, der Ruhe, Entspannung und Natur sucht, uneingeschränkt und wärmstens empfehlen! Herzliche Grüße Uwe und Tina

Perfekt zum abschalten

Erstmal ein großes Lob an Rob und Lydia für so viel Freundlichkeit und das liebevolle Haus, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, auch unsere beiden Hunde waren glücklich. Die ruhige Lage ist ein Traum und trotzdem kann man mit ein paar Minuten Auto fahren auch mehr sehen. Da es in unseren Tage nass und kühl war lohnte sich die Sauna direkt noch mehr.... Lange Rede....... Wir kommen wieder es war toll. Danke

Nette und ruhige Unterkunft

Das Ferienhaus liegt direkt am Haus der Vermieter an. Praktisch, da man dann auch immer einen Ansprechpartner hat. Parkplatz direkt im Hof. Ich war zu einer kalten Jahreszeit dort, daher konnte ich die überdachte Terasse nicht nutzen. Aber sie dennoch toll, man kann seinem Hund dort trockenem Hauptes die Füsse abwischen. Der Schlaf und Wohnbereich ist oben. Bad, Wc und Küche unten. Alles da was man so braucht. Küche neu und sehr schick. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. Es gibt keine versteckten Kosten wie zb Endreinigung. Komme bei Gelegenheit gerne wieder. :)

Wer die Ruhe sucht ist hier richtig!

Ein Ferienhaus, unkompliziert in sehr ruhiger Lage. Lydia & Rob sind sehr nette Vermieter, man hat das Gefühl, sollten Probleme auftreten, werden diese gelöst. Das Verweilen ist unkompliziert. Ich kann das Ferienhaus nur empfehlen.
