Excellent service!

I had a great time. Everyone was very kind and attentive. Kanishk greeted me, made me feel incredibly welcomed and helped me with some train tickets I needed to purchase. I arrived at the hotel quite early and my room wasn't ready so the manager, Saurabh, arranged a temporary room for me to change and freshen up while my room was ready. He also was very attentive and helped me everything I needed from rides to getting me some floss because I ran out of it. I literally mean he helped with anything and everything I needed. Inside, the rooms and the property in general are very nice and well-kept.

What made the difference for us was the service. The gentle man at the front door was so nice. One of the few people weā€™ve met in India with who the interaction felt genuine. Rooms are comfortable The water pressure in the shower is memorable ( didnā€™t find better in the state) Convenient restaurant on site I would recommend with no hesitation. Out of habit and culturally they tend to direct more information and billing to the man even if booking under the womanā€™s name. It can take you back, but know itā€™s cultural.

Highly recommended

The Dev Mahal is a beautiful small hotel with wonderful attentive staff and a restaurant with great food. The complementary pickup from the train station was a nice surprise. TukTuk drivers waiting in front of the hotel will be happy to drive you anywhere in Jaipur.

We had a great few days staying at the Dev Mahal and exploring Jaipur. The hotel staff were very attentive and helpful, particularly in the restaurant. The food at the restaurant was amazing, and we ended up eating there multiple times - the paneer tikka was particularly tasty. The only downsides were the location, being a bit away from the old city and wifi in the room was inconsistent. But these were minor issues and overall weā€™d definitely recommend!

The staff here were really helpful, we had a problem with noise on our first night being next to the restaurant, and they moved us to a different room immediately. The head waiter was superb, with him training the new recruits this hotel has a lot to look forward to. We organised our Jaipur tour through the hotel, they have a friend who comes along and goes through everything with you, and he asked what we wanted, made a few suggestions and organised everything. The guide was brilliant and didn't complain when we asked to do a few more stops at the end of a long day. We had a great time at the Dev Mahal

This hotel is stunningly beautiful & brand new - like a magazine. The staff was also very nice. The reason for 2 stars is there is a cafe behind the property on the first floor where men were smoking right outside our window, spitting, and urinating. We felt extremely unsafe, and could hear men urinating against the window, and smell smoke and urine only separated by single pane glass. We left and checked into another hotel, as they did not have any other rooms available. This hotel has a lot of potential, but should not be renting out rooms where men will lurk and urinate under your window.

Dev Mahal - a hidden gem

Dev Mahal is an amazing hotel that focusses on customer care. The employees made every effort to make my wife and my stay comfortable. They were all very accommodating in our requests and very helpful when it came to even getting my wifeā€™s footwear fixed from a local cobbler. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Jaipur and I will definitely return to Dev Mahal when I come to Jaipur.

Booked for 2 nights. Room was clean and staff prompt to respond to requests. Food was great overall with lots of options. Transportation from the hotel was very expensive almost 3x of uber/ola. I had expected a shuttle to airport but it wasn't free. Overall a good stay.

Lovely decor

The hotel is new and modern, absolutely loved the decor, it was clean and the breakfast was good with lovely staff serving. The hotel has a very good location close to the train station but itā€™s in a quite nice area of Jaipur. The only downside was how loud it was at night - I was woken up several times due to the noise the guests and possibly the staff were making. If possible, opt for the room on the higher floors.
