I stayed 5 days at this property, with 4 more to go, in Jacksonville FL on Baymeadows Rd. I asked to change from a King room to two doubles. Valerie told me I had to check out and check back in. I made my reservation through Orbitz so I called them to change my reservation. Julie at Orbitz checked availability for the room I wanted to change to and it was available, but when she called Studio 6 to request the change, the Studio 6 manager (Roxie) refused. Julie filed a complaint against the property without me initiating it because she said that was unreasonable and making a guest unsatisfied goes against Orbitz policy for customer service and satisfaction. After hanging up with Julie, I called the front desk and asked the manager (Roxie) if I could get some towels, sheets and a comforter because when I checked in there wasn't a comforter on the bed, just a sheet. She said they didn't have comforters but she would try to find me a blanket. I asked her when they would be available and she told me that I had to take the sheets and towels up to the front office and exchange them. I asked when housekeeping cleaned the rooms and she said housekeeping didn't clean the rooms. I told her I needed my room cleaned, she said I didn't have to and I told her I don't live in filth. She also told me on the 7th day, guests were required to wash their own sheets and towels. This is not Studio 6 policy, I verified it. DON'T STAY HERE.
