Absolutely Terrible! Roaches, Grimy, Dirty Dishes, Uncomfortable & Horrible Customer Service.
So, let's dive right into this nightmare. The entire place was COMPLETELY FILTHY! The bottom of our feet were black within 2 minutes of walking around the inside; and there was a strong odor of pet urine everywhere. The townhome wasn't messy, just grossly grimy. As soon as we opened the door, we saw live German cockroaches crawling on the ceiling and dead ones scattered about. Either way, we set up and left our puppy inside to go to dinner. However, my husband forgot his phone inside, but when we tried the door code again it didn't work. I tried contacting the manager through the app and her cell yet received no response... My husband found an unlocked window, and he literally had to crawl through it to get inside! Afterwards, he grabbed his wallet and we left the back door unlocked so we could get back in later since the electronic keypad didn't work. For sleeping, the master bed was unbelievably uncomfortable and too freak me out further; there was a ROACH under the pillow! Not to mention, the bed sinks deep in the center, and our backs were on fire in the morning. When it came time to check out, we cleaned our dishes, picked up the inside then as I was lifting the outdoor trashcan lid to dispose of our garbage a massive amount of maggots fell off the inside lid onto my feet! That moment pretty much sealed the deal for our infested Jax-beach Vrbo! There's definitely more to say but I'm limited on how many words I can write on this review.
