The property was great, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The dinner at the restaurant was wonderful, and it was convenient to have a coffee shop onsite. We even went out for a nice stroll on the beach, which is only a few steps away from the entrance. The only downside was that the air conditioning in my room seemed to be off. I had it on 60, but it still felt like 75 inside. Maybe it was just my room, but something to be aware of.

This is our family's second time visiting this year. We loved it so much we came back a second time. Pool was fun. Short walk to beach, pier, restaurants, souvenir shops & walgreens.

The bed was possibly the worst hotel bed we’ve ever slept on. Neither of us slept because it was harder than rock which really put a damper on the next morning being too tired to do anything. The bar and drinks were the saving factor. The pool was okay, but drain areas at eye level when in the pool were diagustint and covered with grime like they hadn’t been cleaned in weeks.

The location is the best thing going for this hotel—steps from the beach, which is exactly what you want in Jacksonville Beach. Unfortunately, everything else was a letdown. Rooms are on the shabby side for the price, with minimal hanging space (only one robe hook in the entire room, which is baffling for a beach hotel). Beds are hard as a rock, and the pillows were in such poor condition we requested extras—only to wait 2.5 hours and make three separate calls/visits to the front desk before they arrived. Customer service was awful across the board, except for the poolside wait staff, who were friendly and attentive. Food was decent, but nothing remarkable. Overall, the combination of worn-out rooms, terrible service, and uncomfortable beds means I wouldn’t return, even with the convenient beach access.

This was an okay stay. It’s a cool spot and very fun. However, the room floor was really dirty. Sand, and my toddlers hands and feet were black when he crawled around. The fridge was warm, no microwave. Some of the outlets worked. The bathroom fan didn’t work. The room was incredibly hot when we got in. The saving grace was the staff and the main lobby floor. Lots of great staff and the food at the restaurant was excellent. Just wish the room was better.

My check in was for 4pm. When we arrived at 4:30 our room was not ready. We didn’t get our room until 5:20. We get into our room and there are dirty towels in the bathroom.

We always enjoy staying here. Maybe because it was a busy weekend but wasn’t as clean as it was in the past. The room smelled of mildew and didn’t feel fresh.
