Wouldn’t recommend

The house was not as pictured under the booking. Very dirty feeling, don’t walk barefoot unless you want black feet. The outside living was wonderful for our children. Lots to play with outside and pool was fine although not clean, they had fun! When we arrived, management from the VRBO company was still in the house and when she left said there were three major things she had to report but they wouldn’t affect our stay…Our checkout time was 11:00 during booking and we were never told that was going to change until the morning of. Would definitely not book again but it worked for our family to stay this time.

I would not recommend

To put it succinctly - this property is not accurately represented in the listing. The pictures make this look like a "Florida Retreat" but it is definitely NOT. The neighborhood is crummy. Overall the house feels grimy and grungy. There was a leak under the kitchen sink as well as what looked to be a leak coming from one of the bathtubs. The floor was sticky, the whole place was dingy - holes in the walls and water stains on walls and baseboards throughout. There was a broken set of drawers in one of the closets so my family staying in that room couldn't store their clothes during our stay. Several rooms had ceiling fans/lights that were broken and didn't work properly. There were very few extra blankets in the house so several family members had to use towels on top of them to keep themselves warm. The mattresses are REALLY uncomfortable. The towels in our room had just been bought from Walmart - the tags were still on them, meaning they had not been washed before for our use. To top it all off - even though there are pictures of fire in the fireplace in the listing photos - you are actually not allowed to use the fireplace which was a bummer since it was winter during our visit with temps in the 30's. I could go on and on but the point is that this property was not well represented in the listing, not well taken care of and we definitely don't recommend this house for anyone in the future.

Convenient location for exploring Jacksonville and Navy base

We visited to attend theNavy AirShow. Great location close to base. Grocery stores nearby too. Comfortable house with 5 bedrooms. Great living room and outdoor space to visit with entire family. Great communication with the host.

Ghost Pirates Invade Iceman Territory

Ready for hockey and went to Jax to watch our Savannah Ghost Pirates in a preseason game against the Icemen. The house, pool, putting green, fire pit, and location were all amazing. We will be booking again!!

Hockey Weekend in Jacksonville

This property is in a quiet neighborhood. Has a nice pool in the fenced backyard. Sreened in porch with TV is were we spent most of our time while the kids played in the pool. 5 bedrooms slept 10 people comfortably. Was about a 20 minute drive to Ice Arena and 35 minutes to beach.

Wedding trip

We really enjoyed our stay close to downtown where the wedding venue was located. The home was perfect for the entire family to relax and get ready for the wedding. We would highly recommend Andrew and Melody as Host their properties are well maintained and bea. We will be using them in the future our next stay to Florida

Excellent choice

This house was perfect for us! We were in town for a family wedding and the location was perfect! So much space for us inside and out. We never felt like we were on top of each other. The pool was used almost every minute! Easy to check-in and great communication from the hosts. We will definitely rent again.
