The house and surroundings are beautiful. The host made us feel very welcome and even rode by in their boat to sing "happy birthday" to my husband who was celebrating his 60th. Our friends and family loved visiting us here while we were in town.

Great property. Super cozy. Excellent hangout spots for both adults and kids. Daily visits from Swans, Sandhills cranes, geese, heron, kingfishers, pie billed ducks and lots of other birds species. Paddle boat, kayaks, dock and beach were great features we enjoyed a lot. Gas fireplace, Fire pit, grill and a hot tub were also great to have. Big dining table in the middle of everything had gorgeous views of the water and was fgreat for dining, games, drawing and hanging out.

We had an amazing time. The kids never left the beach area. Plenty of things to do from paddleboat, to kayaks, to just regular swimming. Fun for all ages! The views are beautiful. One of the best vacations we ever had as a family. The host was very accommodating and responsive! We loved it here. Definitely a spot to come back to.

This was a wonderful place to vacation with young children. The house is very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of entertainment inside and outside, for all weather conditions. Not pictured is a walk-in closet in the upstairs queen bedroom, which can fit a pack n play. Pack n play could also fit in the upstairs laundry room. This would be a great vacation for grandparents and a family with young children. My kids loved swimming at the beach and jumping off the pontoon in the middle of the lake. Caught a lot of fish as well. Lots of outdoor seating provided and the perfect shade tree at the beach area, which is great for a baby. This place was created for comfort and entertainment. It’s 8 min away from grocery store, so no need to bring all your provisions. We had a wonderful time and would love to return in the future! Also, the hosts were extremely attentive and responsive to all communication!

This was the perfect rental for the weekend! We had 12 adults stay the night and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house and surrounding property is beautiful and extremely well maintained! There was room to play yard games, kayaks, a paddle boat, and a fire pit. The rental provides plenty of towels and bedding and there’s a fully stocked kitchen (there’s even a crock pot!) the lake is small but the water was warm! Overall a beautiful location— we would love to come back again!

Family vacay

We had a great time! Loved the private beach and sand toys for the kids. Utilized the kayaks and SUP. Rented the pontoon as well. Lots of great fishing. Loved the open floor plan. Lots of area to spread out. 8 adults and 2 children under age 3. Plenty of space and sleeping areas. Beautiful walk around the lake every morning. Nice little winery down the road. Very responsive through text for the few questions we had.

Family 4th of July

Turtle Point was perfect. Very clean and well equipped. The Sandy beach was perfect for swimming. The swim platform got a lot of use. From cannonballs to fishing! Paddle boat and hot tub were a hit. Great communication with the host. Will stay here again!

This place is amazing. Beautiful home in a tranquil gorgeous location. Plenty of amenities and the host was the best. Fishing, kayaking, pedalboats, small private beach, hot tub, campfire, gas grill, even a piano for sing alongs! Just bring in food and drinks and youll never want to leave.

Spring break 2025

My husband and I took our 3 boys here for a little spring break getaway and it was PERFECT! My oldest loves fishing, so he spent a majority of the time fishing while my other 2 and I enjoyed the nice warm hot tub! I also really loved sitting in front of the fireplace and watching the lake while having my coffee. Gail was an excellent host and very prompt with responses and making sure we were comfortable and had all of our needs met! The home is breathtaking and we cannot wait to come back when it's warm out to enjoy being in the water too!

Family getaway

This is a beautiful property. Very spacious interior and very nice decor. We enjoyed the hot tub and ice fishing right out the back door! We also visited near by wineries that were less than 6 miles away.

Perfect relaxing getaway!

Turtle Point was clean, homey, and a perfect place to relax! With beautiful views from every spot in the house, to plenty of provided indoor games and outdoor activities, our stay was wonderful! Our host was excellent in communication and making sure everything was ready for our stay. When it’s time to get away again, we will definitely return!

Great stay!

This place was perfect for our needs and we got very lucky with the weather in September to be able to fully enjoys the lake. The property grounds are great and the owners were very easy to communicate with. Having the hot tub was an added bonus and we loved the screened in porch too.

Girl's weekend

We had a wonderful time. A beautiful home on a small lake was perfect for a weekend getaway with girlfriends. There was plenty of space for all of us. The location was lovely. The host put such thoughtful touches, such as fresh flowers on the dining room table, coffee mugs filled with candy and a ribbon, and a set of towels for each guest, toys inside and outside for kids and several seating areas outside the home. Loved the screened in porch. There was everything we needed in the kitchen for our dinners. Plenty of space at the dining room table for games, Several large TV's. The hot tub was very relaxing. We were able to walk to North of 12. The hosts truly care about the comfort of their guests. Would highly recommend
