Its right at the base of the ski lift in Jackson...so convenient and very affordable compared to the surrounding accommodations

I stayed here years ago. Not a lot has changed. The rooms have been redone. It’s wonderful to have an affordable option in Teton Village!!!

Almost didn’t book The Hostel because I thought it was a hostel, turns out it isn’t anymore (not for ~20yrs). It was at one time, and started off as an affordable spot for families in the 60’s at the same time the tram and mangey moose were built (for only $10 a night). Not that there is anything wrong with hostels, but I was with my teenage son and wanted something quiet, clean and private for our couple of days at Jackson. Turns out The Hostel is perhaps the most perfect spot at Jackson with just the necessities you need to maximize your experience at the resort with only a couple minute walk to the Tram! Not only is it affordable, but it’s quiet, convenient, clean, comfortable and has an awesome vibe that makes it the ideal spot for those who would gladly take “no frills” accommodations for the most perfect location in the Village. The rooms have been updated with an industrial and minimalist design that punches above its pay grade for the village. While it would have been nice to have a hot tub, I’d gladly take the Ski tuning room, game room, cost savings and awesome vibe in exchange. I’ll definitely be back!

The only good thing about this hostel was its convenient location for ski-in, ski-out access. But beyond that, it was an absolute nightmare. The noise level was unbearable. You could hear everything—people walking upstairs, talking in the next room, and even your neighbors on both sides, including things you definitely don’t want to hear at night. Let’s just say earplugs won’t save you from the moaning. Overall, this experience completely turned me off from ever staying in a hostel again. If you value sleep and privacy, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

The Hostel is very economical and a perfect location for convenient access to Jackson Hole skiing. It's very basic, rustic and "old school" vibe is perfect for those who don't require the finer things in life. It's the common man's oasis in the otherwise high-end glamor of Jackson Hole village. The Hostel even has their own resident cat.

The Hostel is a lot like a, well Hostel, but with small private bedrooms and baths. Great vibe with staff and other guests. Lots of open areas to hang out and play games. Most of what you need to make a great ski trip the most important of which is easy walking to the Mangy Moose, Gondola, and Tram. We were there 4 nights and never got in or car. Only improvement would be to start the coffee service earlier. 7:30 is an hour after I wake up and I need my coffee!

A good place to stay for visit in Grand Teton park

We had a very good stay. Arrived a bit late, and did not find a place to eat in the evening or in the morning (breakfast opened only at 10). Arranged a parking spot for us (need explanation were it is allowed to park), close to the premises. Our room was on the second floor - a bit tight climbing with a large suitcase. The room is also a bit small, but was suitable for us regarding price and distance from grand teton park - our plans for the next day. The surrounding was nice. The closest grocery store at the fuel station was very expensive - better to be prepared.

Gorgeous area, perfect space if you just need something cheap in a great location. Rustic- don’t expect it to be top notch. Kind of felt like being in a cabin at summer camp.

Had a great stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are no frills but very adequate and comfortable. I enjoyed meeting the residence cat Lionel too.
