We stayed on the hill out back. Rooms have been updated. TV is small. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Grounds on the hill look great Will visit again.

In the middle of the night we awoke to find our room smelled like the cigarette smoke air from the casino was being directly piped into our room. I am not sure if there was a malfunction in the building's HVAC system that would cause this, but it was bad. All we could smell was cigarettes and the purfume scented stuff they blend into the air in the casino to help mask the smoke. As we checked out in the early morning, I explained the problem and requested a refund. As of the time of this writing, about 10 hours later - the manager has still not bothered with my request for a phone call. Aside from the toxic air, the carpet inside our room looked to be the original carpet from when the place was built, which had to have been circa 1985. The carpet was disgusting. One of the elevators rides extremely rough and feels like it could come crashing down any day. Will never stay in this place again. The room rating was clearly off on Expedia.

The room, I thought was cleaner then usual. They seriously need to do some updating to this place. And also add aome weather stripping around the door. Daylight can be seen all around it. But overall its a place to lay your head when you dont wanna drive home , and lost all your money 💰 😁

Room was great. Staff were wonderful. Erica, who was a cashier on the floor offered us the "players card" and she was very sweet and kind. Although we did not win we still had fun. One thing I would like to say is the food needs improvement. It was overpriced and not very tasty. Other than that we love Barton's 93 and never have stayed anywhere else. Thank you Barton's!
