My brother and I had an amazing stay here. The property was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a really nice breakfast that was provided each morning, which included freshly cooked eggs that they started making when you arrived. Was really impressed by the breakfast as it was much better than most hotels I’ve stayed at. This property was also in walking distance of all the activities we had in Istanbul which was really convenient. The best part was the staff. Everybody was extremely friendly and made us feel at home. All the staff members talked with us and asked us how our day was, and answered all our questions. The main front desk man even helped us book a taxi to the airport for the last day which was really helpful. All of them are great people and they will go above and beyond to help you in any way possible. Definitely recommend this place to anyone staying in Istanbul. We will be back here next time we visit.

The hotel is located close to sultan Ahmed square, has lots of eateries and places to visit. It served a good Continental breakfast, the room was clean, the shower worked fine and the lifts were in working order.

⸻ Great Hotel and Excellent Service! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a fantastic experience staying at this hotel. The staff were all very kind, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. Even though I don’t remember their names, I truly appreciated their hospitality. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything worked perfectly. The location was also very convenient, close to everything I wanted to visit. Breakfast was tasty with a good variety of choices. Overall, a wonderful stay. I would definitely come back and recommend this hotel to others!

The location is excellent, close to tourist sites and within walking distance. The people who work there are very friendly, and the breakfast is very good with a lot of variety. It's one of the best hotels I've stayed at.

The property was so convenient to all the important sites in old Istanbul. The staff were very friendly & the service was excellent, Mehmet, the owner, was very helpful and informative. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Istanbul, and will strongly recommend it to everyone

Es un hotel pequeño sin grandes lujos pero con habitaciones cómodas. El desayuno es sencillo pero suficiente con productos de buena calidad. Tiene una inmejorable ubicacion, muy cerca caminando a todas las principales atracciones de la ciudad y de estación de tranvias. Barrio muy lindo, tranquilo y muy seguro. we had a beautiful stay at the Sultan Mehmed hotel. Mehmet, and the rest of the staff made sure our stay is comfortable. Mehmet was generous with ideas of where to go and where to eat. He was always available to offer assistance and show us on the map the best way to reach places. (and also supplied us with a public transportation card). His restaurant recommendations were good. He stayed up late every night till we returned and woke up with us at 5 am when we were departing. The room was clean and was tended to every day. Breakfast was nice and was served by two lovely girls. Tea and coffee are available at the lobby all day. The location of the hotel is excellent. We returned every afternoon to rest and recuperate and then went out again. Mehmet is fluent in English which made our stay ten times better. Would whole heartedly recommend this hotel.

This was our first trip to Turkey, it was amazing, the hotel staff was great, always helping us on any concern, two young ladies serving a superb breakfast to begin the day. I loved my stay at Sultan Mehmed. I had a small but comfortable room with a great shower. Breakfast was a feast of cold cuts, cheese, fruits, breads and eggs cooked to your preference and served by 2 delightful girls who couldn’t do enough for you. The hotel is a 5 minute stroll from both the Blue Mosque and Agia Sophia, the tram stop and various reasonable eateries. Mehmed, the owner, is a mine of useful and interesting information and it was a pleasure to be in his company. I would return to this comfortable and welcoming hotel in a heartbeat.
