Hotel with very friendly staff next to Hagia Sofia. The breakfast is superb. And it is close to the main attractions. The problems are: 1. Very noisy room next to a busy street, and 2. There is a big slope in front of the hotel without car access. You have to walk about 500 meters in order to take a cab.

Great location. Steps from all the important sites and close to transportation. The hôtel looks great from the outside but a bit outdated and tired in the inside. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I asked the cleaning ladies several times for face towels, i was told they had but never délivered them. I felt they were a bit clueless in reception and restaurant. Good hôtel over all.

Hotel was in a great location right by the main attractions in Old Town. Rooms were nice but the bathroom door was sheer and so the light poured into the entire room. And the shower door would not close fully so water got everywhere. Since taxis can’t come down direct to the hotel, it was somewhat confusing for some drivers, but a quick 3 minute walk to another stop was no issue. Staff was extremely attentive though and very helpful.

Best location in Sultanahmet, Istanbul

This has to be the best location in Sultanahmet, Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque and Basilica all across the street. Very safe and interesting neighborhood. Good free breakfast and friendly staff. The bathroom is slightly dated, rooms are smaller, but location, location and location. We like it and recommend it highly.

We stayed four nights at this property. The location is very good, but difficult to find. Although breakfast was included in our reservation, the hotel tried to pull a fast one first, but accepted when shown the reservation details. Breakfast was good, but the choices become stale if staying for four nights, especially because there is not much choice for vegetarians. The dining staff was very good. The front desk was most interested in selling tours, but not in providing advice on good tour guides. Finally, and this was upsetting: we did not get our VIP Gold benefits at this property.

Perfect location within easy walking distance of key iconic sites.Pleasant,very clean rooms with two comfortable lounge/bar areas and a wide choice of beautifully served breakfast options. The staff are outstanding, invariably friendly and helpful. The front desk is always staffed with personnel who have a good working knowledge of English and provide practical help in booking excursions,buying tickets, confirming reservations and mastering the public transport system. This hotel goes the extra yard in removing hassles and ensuring a comfortable and relaxing holiday. I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Istanbul

The staff is amazing...and the location cannot be beat. Keep in mind that this location is inside the UNESCO zone...so no car traffic...which is great, but it takes a little effort to check-in. Having said that, the front desk staffed WALKED over to where my cab dropped me off, and rolled my bag back to the location. Great service! The free breakfast was over-the-top good. It's an older boutique hotel...so keep that in mind. But now that I'm not doing business travel much, I steer away from large brands.
