2026 Beach Restoration Update

The City of Isle of Palms has approved a beach nourishment project planned for Summer-Fall 2026. Although the final schedule has not yet been announced, the work is expected to progress in sections along the shoreline, so any impact to a specific area should be temporary.

We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available and are happy to offer guidance based on your travel dates.

Beautiful ocean view. Great beach to walk and bike. Bike paths in Wild Dunes very nice. Many excellent restaurants nearby. Unit very comfortable and quiet. Nice balcony and furniture. Kitchen well equipped.

Unit was nice and clean with everything you need. Beds were comfy. Some plumbing issues that were not resolved. Drains in both showers were clogged - maintenance fixed them but after repairs, the drain in the secondary bathroom flooded the unit below us, so we couldn't use that shower at all during our stay. The front door doesn't lock well - it can be pushed open when locked. We had to put a chair at the front door to secure it when inside.

Property is nice, clean and looks to have been renovated fairly recently. Generally, has potential to be 4 star for sure, maybe 5. Unfortunately, the washer did not work and the handle to the master shower was loose and falling off. Also, we asked for early check-in if possible. They said they would see if possible and contact us. I personally saw the cleaning staff leave about 2 and the room obviously ready early but the lock code did not work until 4. I don't really care if you won't offer early check-in, just say so. Don't act like you will try and then make no effort to follow through.
